“We came down to our place at the coast to celebrate New Years Eve. Then decided to go to Tia Juanita’s Fish Camp for an early afternoon dinner. Decor, atmosphere, service and most of all, the shrimp brochette, jalapeño cheese grits and sautéed vegetables were awesome. Highly, highly recommend Tia Juanita’s. Have never had a bad meal! (Just wish they would expand to Canyon Lake!!!)”

“I would’ve left a 1 star review for the last time we went because of the bad experience we had with the worker that attended us on Sunday morning (she had facial piercings and a tattoo) she charged us with two scoops and only gave us one and said she ran out of the big cups. But on Saturday we went and the older woman and the male were kind and amazing!! They let us taste multiple gelato flavors! Highly recommend if you’re visiting the beach!!! The Dubai chocolate was amazing!”

“We go to the beach quite a bit during the summer and sporadically throughout the rest of the year. This is one place that is isn't compromised. The food is GREAT! We eat breakfast here every morning they are open when we are in town! The staff is great as well! There is one guy that works there, though I can't remember his name, but he's tall, thin, white, and bald. He's wonderful, full of smiles, and great stories!! 5 star review!!!”

“Went to Tiki today 10/8/22. There was a group of us that flew in, I guess 13 in all. They were doing a good business today with several tables full of customers. They allowed us to pull tables together for our group. Even having several customers and light on staff our drink orders were taken promptly. As we all visited the waitress took our orders and for our size group the food came out in a timely manner. Everyone was happy with their food and no complaints as far as timing. Our group will be going back!!!!”

“My wife and I stopped in Sat Aug 8, 2026. It's another absolute hidden gem on the east end of Galveston Island. We came in and had an abbreviated lunch. Plenty of seating inside and outdoors at lunch time with no wait. We shared a Fried Green Tomato Appetizer and a Redfish BLT w/Fries. The food is superb, they locally source their Redfish from the island, meaning it's fresh! If you've never had a Redfish BLT, stop in, It'll knock your socks off, guaranteed! Long story short, if you're looking for an off the beaten path eatery for something extraordinary, and with absolutely no wait and friendly, attentive service on a busy saturday afternoon on Galveston Island, this is an absolute must!”
