“The Crawfish Place serves up great food out in the middle of nowhere. The place has a delightful redneck honky tonk vibe. But even though my kids and I are all “darkies” (and their mama is a real-live, tropical Asian immigrant) we were treated very well.

I had the blackened catfish. It was terrific. My kids had a hamburger and a pizza. My wife selected a fried seafood platter. Everyone was pleased with the food they ordered.

My kids had big plans for dessert but the servings of their main courses were so generous that they couldn’t handle dessert.

We were all so full that we never even looked at the dessert menu so I can’t tell you what was available for dessert.

But I can tell you this much, we will definitely be back for more!”

“waited too long of a time for my banana split ordered extra extra chocolate got it back with even less chocolate. when I asked them for more chocolate like was put on my receipt they took it back for another 20 minutes and brought me back the same banana split claiming they remade it. these kids these days ... wow.”

“Today I took my parents to Stuckey's because Dad wanted some hot chocolate, which I purchased at the indoor Dunkin Donuts. Mom was hungry and ordered some chicken biscuits from Turbo Joe's, which were absolutely fresh and delicious! While we sat and enjoyed our tasty meal, I saw that they also make biryani, samosas and pakoras, which I've been wanting to taste for such a long time. So I ordered one samosa, which was huge and so good, and an order of pakoras. Loved them and Mom especially liked the pakoras. I asked if I could get a sample taste of the biryani, and upon that first spoonful, I ordered a meal. I love spicy food and trying new dishes, so needless to say, I'm in heaven right now! I'm not sure about other Stuckey's locations, but ours serves some very good, fresh food. The staff is helpful, attentive and friendly!

“I have been stopping at Stuckey's for many years and this stop was for a quick lunch on the north side of I-10. This travel stop has several venues from which to get food and I opted for the Mango Smoothie at what I believe was Baskin Robbins. It was very good and satisfied my lunch need.”
