“I ❤️ this place!! Everything is sooo good & the service here is always phenomenal. My regular cravings are for the pistolette & fish/shrimp combo. I’m really happy we don’t have to drive 30-40min away for some great food!! ?”

“As you cruise down the winding Texas roads from the bustling city of Houston towards the quaint town of Beaumont, a culinary oasis awaits in the unassuming town of Winnie. Tucked away like a hidden gem lies Mi Casa Taqueria, a beacon of flavor in the heart of this small Texan community. A little taste of Guadalajara cooking up birria tacos like to perfection.Picture this: tender, slow-cooked beef enveloped in a blanket of melted cheese, sandwiched between two golden tortillas crisped to perfection. Each bite is a symphony of flavors, a harmonious blend of savory meat, gooey cheese, fresh cilantro and white onions, dipped in a rich consume soup. But it’s not just about the food at Mi Casa; it’s about the experience. It’s about the warmth of the owners, the sense of community, and the passion that infuses every dish. As Anthony Bourdain himself would say, “Good food is very often, even most often, simple food.” And at Mi Casa Taqueria, simplicity reigns supreme, transforming a humble quesaburria into a culinary masterpiece. So, next time you find yourself on the road between Houston and Beaumont, do yourself a favor and make a pit stop at Mi Casa Taqueria. Your taste buds will thank you.”
“Always have a great experience her! Monnie knows how to treat her employees and it shows in the way they work and serve the community. Always love going to my Hometown Waffle House!! Keep up the great work!”
“Lady serving told a guy he was bossy for asking what CS desert is, mac was watery, green beans bland, and butter beans too salty to eat, and I love this place. They were short handed and having a bad day, I hope.”
“Great value for breakfast burritos. Found the chorizo breakfast burritos to be the best. Far more food for the price than you would get at fast food chains and better quality ingredients.Call your order ahead to avoid a wait.”
“The owner came over and showed us how it was done. She was super friendly and felt like family. I deff recommend this little spot if you are on your way from NASA to Houston along the coast.”
“This place was amazing. We stopped by on the way home and they were fantastic!!!! If you’re thinking about it, stop and do it, they were muy delicioso, gracias!”

And it was so tasty ? it came out hot and fresh with lots of Authentic flavors!!Now we want to go back and try the Tacos. If you have not been you definitely need to give them a try. The price was great!! We can't waite to go back.As always if you found this review helpful please give it a thumbs up ? Thanks.”
“Very good! The staff was very kind, the food was good but I wasn’t a big fan of the Mac and cheese and baked beans. It could be my personal preference though. The prices were fair and average for a bbq restaurant. I would definitely recommend trying here! The inside is very country/western themed and it’s a cute spot!”
“Drove through for banana split blizzard. Was disappointed. Fruit is normally mixed throughout the ice cream but was only topping. Halfway through was plain vanilla to the bottom. Must be trying to save pennies on fruit cost.”
“This is the only Mexican restaurant I've ever been to that didn't serve alcohol. Was really hoping to enjoy a nice cold beer with my dinner but had to settle for Pepsi instead. Food was good. Salsa was spicy . Food was so/so . Not bad all together.”
“A little hole on the wall diner on one side and bar on the other. We ate at the diner. Food was good and the waitress was super nice. I definitely would go back again.”
“My wife and I stopped in to give it a go. We loved it and have made it one of our favs. I had a huge burger called “Jake the Snake”. It had grilled onions and jalapenos. My wife got the hamburger steak and followed it up with some of “Mama’s bread pudding”. The staff was so kind and helpful and the food was off the chain. We live in Nederland and made the drive over to check it out. Do yourself a favor and stop in. You’ll Thank me”
