“I'm in Beaumont a few times a year. I ALWAYS stop at Floyds when I am there. Honestly, it is the best thing that Beaumont TX. has going for it. My meal always includes their wonderful crab bisque and I usually have a fish steak- Tuna, Sword, etc blackened with the veggie side. They just do this so well. Every meal- and I have had quite a few over the last 12 years of going there, has been awesome! I recommend Floyds to all of my friends that come into TX. via I-10.”

I had the combination lo mein and it was great as well and it had plenty of meat and veggies! The pork cracklins are always delicious! I get a bag each time I go! “Decided last minute to go to Texas Roadhouse on a Friday night. The place was packed and yes there was a wait time. Worth every minute we waited !!! Couldn't have asked for better food or waiter. We got lucky and got "Uncle Daniel". Just try and not fill up on the rolls. We had plenty of leftovers to take home.”

Parking: There are parking spots in front and side of building. It’s a little packed at times but if you have a driver’s license, then you should know how to navigate without issue.”

“Since everything in this town closes at 9:00, I decided to try this place out. I ordered a torta and Gordita, but they were out of gorditas so I grabbed 3 mini tacos. The meats are all prepared ahead and you can see them in the steam tray. Enjoyed everything, but the asada on the torta didn’t have a lot of flavor. Mini tacos were really good and the green salsa hit just right. Felt it was a good meal for the price I paid.”

“We went to whataburger on 6/22 at 1:50am, and the younger man with the braids in a ponytail at the window did a great job at keeping a great attitude while doing literally 500 things at once. Taking orders inside and on the drive through, bagging food, scooping fries, and on top of that some other guy was inside yelling about his food. And he still kept the same high energy, positive, respectfulness, and customer service. Wish I caught his name to put in the review and i really wish I would’ve had cash in my car to give him.”

Parking: During high traffic times like lunch and breakfast it's hard to get out of the parking spot due to sometime you get blocked by the drive thru line waiting to order. Then you have to wait until the line moves so you can get out.”

“This location was clean. The team was pleasant and professional as well. Our order was taken without any quirks. The food came out hot, quick, and smelled so good. And I also got a ranch dressing (small charge)but, I commend this location for keeping the ranch cold. If you're not a fan of ranch, that it is served cold, honestly makes the difference in JIB ranch dressing flavor. Cold ranch, hot curly fries... the best! Thank you to this crew and the hard working vibe they were in. Had a little rush in the drive thru as we were there. The team pumped out the orders left and right. Enjoy your visit.

“Good bar that also brews beer in-house. The service was great and the food was so delicious. There were so many things on the menu that I wanted to try, including a sampler meal. There is some parking in front but the majority is in their back lot. Plenty of inside and outside seating available. They do have a run club on Wednesdays. The only downside was their house brewery beers, they were not great compared to others in the area. But they carry a lot of other beers on tap, can, or bottle.”

“Me and my husband visited Big John’s Grill today for the first time and we were highly impressed. Upon entering the restaurant which most people would refer to as a “hole in the wall”, the restaurant was clean, had a nice smell and had adequate sitting. This made us very happy as several Beaumont restaurants we have been in have a sewer odor which immediately kills my appetite. To make things even more pleasant was when we saw the A95 rating from the health department.

The manager Beatrice was quite helpful in pointing out today’s special which was fried chicken/fried pork chops with cornbread, yams, black-eyed peas, rice and gravy, and cabbage. We had kind of gotten a heads-up on what meals are served each day, so we were looking forward to our lunch. Beatrice continued to assist by taking our drink order and dessert order all with a smile as she hollered to the cook what our order was (which was perfectly fine with us because it took us back to some of the restaurants we visited as a kid. She then told us we could sit down, and our drinks and food would be brought out to us.

Shortly after sitting our waitress Robyn (Robin) came up with our drinks, napkins and silverware. Again, service with a smile. She confirmed our order and checked on us while we waited as well as when the food came out. During our wait I noticed an old-time vintage Dearborn space heater that I pointed out to my husband….and wow just like that I felt like I was sitting in my grandmother’s living room whom I miss greatly.

The food was hot, fresh, tasty, and the appearance was definitely that of a cook who knew what he or she was doing. The portion size was good and the price we paid for the meal was economical. The lunch traffic never stopped. In the short time we sat there, the line grew from 3 people to 15, and people were still coming in for pick-up orders when we left.

We left as very satisfied customer and plan to return one day in the future. Thank you, Big John’s Grill, Beatrice, and Robyn, for making our visit and lunch date lovely.”

“We ate at Aladdin's kabob Korner on June 3rd. We ordered butter chicken, Chicken Shawarma, Cheese Naan, Mango pudding and of course a Chai. everything was delicious and the service was quick. I didn't catch our hosts name but, she made the meal more enjoyable with her friendly presence. We will most definitely be visiting again soon.”

If you're wanting homemade, southern, make-ya-wanna-slap-ya-mama good food, you're at the right spot! As of October 2024 it's still only a drive thru but there's a sign out front saying dine-in coming soon! The service is always impeccable! The owners make you feel comfortable, treat everyone like family, will answer any and all questions you have, and they go above and beyond for their patrons. Today's lunch special was beef tips with your choice of 2 sides, I chose green beans and cabbage. When I tell you the food makes ya wanna slap ya mama, I AM NOT LYING! The beef tips are full of flavor and fork cutting tender, over rice with gravy that you know didn't come out of a packet! The green beans with potatoes and onions are full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The smothered cabbage is always a homerun for me. Not everyone knows what they're doing in the kitchen but if you give this restaurant a chance, you'll be coming back for more whether it's for breakfast or lunch!”

“Mrs Kimberla (aka Mrs Kim) is the reason we come in to eat instead of ordering from the drive thru. She is SUCH a gem and has the sweetest, most kind soul!! Our kids adore her and my husband and I enjoy her conversation, too. My first encounter with Mrs Kim was my first outing as a mom of 3. My husband was supposed to meet us for lunch but got held up at work so was running late. I was trying to manage a newborn and two toddlers. Between pushing strollers, holding hands, trying to get everyone’s food to the table and set out, running back to get napkins while not taking my eyes off anybody, a crying newborn and the dining room being PACKED, you can imagine my anxiety. Mrs Kim was quick to come to the table and not only help me get everyone settled but remind me that this is a season and I’ll get a routine down in no time. I was on the edge of tears feeling overwhelmed and she told me I was doing a great job. I am not exaggerating when I say I will never forget her kindness and gentleness in that moment. She’s SUCH a blessing and CFA is lucky to have her!!”

Don’t let the veneer of this place put you off! I have been visiting Beaumont from the UK, and we have tried a few corporate donut places, which were ok but not incredible - This morning we happened upon Dawn Donuts, and their donuts are DELICIOUS! Today we tried the Krueller and the standard glazed donuts, both were amazing!

And they also popped some donut holes in our order as a little extra!
