“We rented Karen's venue for a baby shower. I was so delighted! The space is beautiful and she was so kind and easy to work with. We had about 50 people and plenty of room. We went in and sat out food and centerpieces and were done! I highly recommend!”

“ordered doordash. never had them and lesson learned. tater tots and side where just thrown in the bag not wrapped etc. order was not right at all, missing a whole meal etc. mushroom burger i think they put through a press and guess they ran out of white cheese. very dissapointing considering I spent a tiny bit of money there. lesson learned. a "order of onion rings"”

“brisket, turkey, baby back ribs corn bake, green beans, jalapeño bread the turkey really stood out. juicy, lean, great rub. ribs were tender with good smoke and flavor. corn bake was creamy and smoky. green beans had bacon flavor, just needed a little salt. jalapeño bread was soft and fluffy. service was fast and friendly. food came out hot and fresh. easy stop, no complaints. worth the price.”

“Been eating here for YEARS ! some of the best fried seafood around ! Totally disappointed today. I called in an order 4:10 pm. They told me order would be ready in 15 minutes. I got there at 4:50 to pickup my food and go. They had not even started cooking my order....so what is the point of calling in an order ? FYI...they were NOT busy at all. I stood there another 20 minutes while they cooked my order. Then I noticed they charged me 1.00 more on EACH of the items I ordered than was priced on menu board IN the restaurant? I questioned the young man worker register and counter and he said " I dunno...only my 2nd day here." i said well u just cant charge more than advertised menu price ? He acted like he didn't care. THEN I get home and the TWO orders of garlic shrimp noodles i order have like 4 little shrimp in each. VERY disappointed. I am not one to usually gripe & all about supporting g the few restaurants we have in Groves...but yall gotta do WAY better than this !! Not sure IF I will be going back anytime soon.”

“The more I learn about the food and menu the more I get excited. The first few years I’d only get the chicken sandwich and waffle fries, but now I love the spicy southwest salad and the fruit bowl … and for breakfast I love to order a high protein meal of 2 grilled filets with hot sauce and buffalo sauce and an egg white + the kale crunch (+ Charred Tomato Crispy Red Bell Peppers ) salad. It’s amazing. Thank you Chikfila for HEALTHY fast food 🥰😋”

“I won’t admit how much I spend at Doxie Coffee on a monthly basis, but I will say that it is well worth it. Pricing is similar to chain coffee shops (around $6 for a latte, depending on the customizations you choose) but the quality and experience is so much better. They’ve taken the time to source high quality, ethically sourced beans; they make their own syrups in house using natural ingredients; they get to know you by name and memorize the way you like your drinks. Not only is it common to see the owners working behind the bar and interacting with customers, but it’s something they’re clearly passionate about. There is something to be said about a young couple who pours their hearts and souls into coffee, takes a leap and opens two local coffee shops, and trusts that the community will be there to support them. If you’re going to splurge on a little treat, this is absolutely the best place to do it.”
