“Made a big order through the drive thru. 8 bbq crabs, 6lbs of crawfish, 4 smash burger baskets and 4 drinks. All the food came out fresh in a timely manner. Workers were very nice, Crawfish were juicy and very flavorful. Bbq crabs are delicious! And the smash burgers are probably one of the best I’ve had. Also best prices I could find on crawfish. 100% recommend!“

“Today, I messed up and meant to order door dash and instead I ordered pickup. Well the owner made it happen for me. I was at work and couldn't leave. This is absolutely hands down my favorite place to eat. The food is always on point and delicious!!! The staff is awesome for dine in as well. I have done it all. I highly recommend this restaurant!!“

“We’re camping at Sea Rim State Park and came into town on two occasions to eat here. We had fried shrimp which was great (they don’t serve crawfish on Mondays). Came back for the crawfish. It was perfect for me, tasty but not too spicy. We added hush puppies and coleslaw. It was really all delicious!“

“AMAZING!!!! The best crawfish I have had in my 76 years on this earth. Perfectly cooked and seasoned with NO DEAD ONES in 6 pounds of product. The only place I will ever buy boiled crawfish. I hope the owners make tons of money and pay the cook(s) well. Cost is well worth paying for the quality of the crawfish!“

“Mama Kim’s in Nederland absolutely lived up to the hype and made a fantastic first impression. The food was incredibly fresh, the service was genuinely top notch, and the atmosphere was welcoming from the moment we walked in. This was our first visit, we made the drive specifically because they’re opening a new location in Lumberton soon and we wanted to see what everyone was talking about. It was worth the trip—every dish tasted freshly made, came out hot, and was full of flavor, and the staff checked on us often without ever feeling overbearing. Overall, Mama Kim’s delivered exactly what we were hoping for and more, and it makes us even more excited to have a location coming to Lumberton. We’ll definitely be back.“

“Today was the first time going here. I tell you this Layla our server was very nice and attentive. As for the food excellent. I had the redfish and pistolettes and my husband had the seafood nachos and the blackened catfish. Everything was wonderful atmosphere great. I recommend it over all.“

“Had a dinner date with my wife here tonight and we were both happy with the food and service. Get the lobster tail, scallops, catfish, shrimp, flounder, and raw oysters. The calamari was chewy, the onion rings were meh, but all-in-all, great experience. We will definitely be back and post a glowing google review. Seating was great and readily available for early dinner accommodations. The Jack Frost margaritas were lightweight but tasty all the same. Don’t hesitate to make substitutions for the platters if there’s something you know you would prefer instead of one or two of the items.“

“I would like to give a HUGE shout out to 2 of your servers. I attended a birthday party in the back room Saturday Dec 6. There were over 40 of us there. Mike and Cassie were absolutely AMAZING!! They took GREAT care Of us and we lacked for nothing. They need some recognition for their labors !!!“

“Kind of a plain little restaurant with great fried shrimp and fish. I’ve done numerous call in orders. Staff never asks your name or gives a time when it should be ready. I always have to ask that. Just tell them what you ordered when you go in and they’ll get it out pretty quick. I’d recommend for the fish and shrimp as I haven’t tried anything else.“

“I get my 7 piece Fried flats Chicken here. I like the way theirs are cooked. I buy the same once a month as a treat to myself and have never been sick or had bad chicken and the wife is friendly. The husband is starting to speak so that shows he's recognizing me as a regular customer 😅“

“This was my first visit, and everything was excellent, Tracy knew a lot of her customers, and they all talked like family. I will definitely be back, my Crawfish and flounder was the bomb 💣 😋.

“I grew up going to the original location in Port Arthur. I was excited to see they had a location in Houston, Texas. I love the salt and pepper, wings and fish. I always come here when I’m catering a party because their packages are cheap fast and delicious. I hope they continue to expand some more locations in the Houston area. It always feels like a taste of home when I eat here. Also the salt pepper turkey around Thanksgiving has become a staple in my family.“

“Mr Lee is great! Sometimes I drop off my clothes and let them wash and fold but sometimes I will stay and do the clothes myself. Always happy with the service they provide. Ignore the low reviews. They run a tight ship here. Don’t come in with rowdy kids cause he will call you out.“

“I always get the same thing everytime I come here (fried large crawfish tails) & it's very good every single time. This dinner comes with lots of fried crawfish & French fries w a tiny salad that is obviously more for appearance than for eating. Anyways, my daughter & I literally share this dinner everytime we come here cuz it's so much that I could never eat it all by myself!!“

“Was given a raw $100 thanksgiving turkey that they made us wait over an hour for even though it was ordered a week in advance. Turkey was dry and soggy after having to finish cooking it. Complete waste of money, definitely cook your own turkey!“

“Been eating here for YEARS ! some of the best fried seafood around ! Totally disappointed today. I called in an order 4:10 pm. They told me order would be ready in 15 minutes. I got there at 4:50 to pickup my food and go. They had not even started cooking my order....so what is the point of calling in an order ? FYI...they were NOT busy at all. I stood there another 20 minutes while they cooked my order. Then I noticed they charged me 1.00 more on EACH of the items I ordered than was priced on menu board IN the restaurant? I questioned the young man worker register and counter and he said " I dunno...only my 2nd day here." i said well u just cant charge more than advertised menu price ? He acted like he didn't care. THEN I get home and the TWO orders of garlic shrimp noodles i order have like 4 little shrimp in each. VERY disappointed. I am not one to usually gripe & all about supporting g the few restaurants we have in Groves...but yall gotta do WAY better than this !! Not sure IF I will be going back anytime soon.“
