“Great service! Our server was super friendly and checked on us often. The popcorn shrimp and fried soft shell crab were probably my favorite of what I tried. The raw oysters were mostly good - a couple tasted a little weird but what can you do? We stopped in around 7:45 pm and it wasn’t too busy.“
“This place has dropped to the lowest of low. Not sure why there is all this Cajun decorations. 88% of the menu is Mexican. There is no buffet anymore! There is no Cajun band. The crawfish taste like water. They really are not geared for seafood. The service from wait staff is beyond horrible your like a burden to them as six wait staff stand around talking. What a shame. Food horrible, Service horrible.Atmosphere was noon existent for the 6 people in the whole place. This happened on Saturday night 6 pm 4/6/2024 never going back. New owners ruined it in no time“
“I traveled from Oklahoma to the Crawfish hole to celebrate my sister passing her LPN exam.We ordered the ice chest special but didn't know you had to bring your own ice chest. The staff was so kind, they bagged it for me ! SPEEDY DRIVE THRU, KIND STAFF !GREAT SERVICE AND CRAWFISH !Parking: It's kind of ducked off but that's also the beauty of it.“
“Finally had the opportunity to go to Tia Juanita's in Port Arthur last evening. We were seated quickly, offered watered promptly and given a chance to order. There is so very much to chose from so it took a while! ?. Once orders were made, it did take a few, but this was understood since the restaurant was full. We ordered the boudain balls which was really a treat. Our food came shortly after and my what a presentation. I ordered the Trio Tacos, blackened and they were amazing! My friends dishes were just as appealing. Although quite filled, we shared a bread pudding, my friend insisted. Pleasant evening, great food/service was enjoyed. The only issue was as the evening wore on the music was turned up quite a bit, which made it difficult to hear one another. Otherwise everything else was perfect...“
“Good food, unique service, beginner atmosphere. This place has so much potential I hope to see it one day after it grows bigger. To dine in you have to grab a menu and then go to the cashier and order your meal. The food spiciness is American level, so if you truly want spicy let them know. Overall the food was awesome though wish I knew about the spicy before hand (barely to non felt the heat). Over all would come back.“
“My daughter and I love coming to Mama Kim’s. Every Friday, they serve smoked brisket pho which sells very quickly because everyone loves it.My daughter is a vegetarian and eats the Pho Khong with cabbage instead of noodles (pictured). She also loves the hot jasmine tea.I typically have the pho but recently have been trying the #32 which is beef cubes over rice…(forgive me but I don’t know the name of it yet…I just know it’s wonderful). We also get a side salad. We love the atmosphere here as well, but more than anything, we love Kim! She’s so sweet and such a diligent person who always has a smile on her face. She really cares about her patrons. My daughter has known her since before she opened this restaurant and became so close from visiting her at the restaurants she has worked and now owns that she sees Kim as family.Kim, we love you and are so proud of your hard work. We look forward to all of your accomplishments and getting to see all the smiles you put on the faces of the people you serve.Vegetarian options: Anything on the menu is modifiable to be vegetarian.“
“It has been years since I have been in this area for any business of My own and I stopped into Gulf Coast Seafood. The customer traffic was high and folks were being taken care of and Happy on there visit. It caused My visit to be that much better. The New Management and Owner was very Sweet and a Nice Person that I could Appreciate about her. Her husband came out to help a customer to figure what type of jalapeno pepper used in the dish she purchased dine in. He shared the information to her and her husband at their table. Impressed. An overall experience of good service experience there at Gulf Coast Seafood restaurant“
“Sea ranch is a great family restaurant!! Great food, but the fish was not cooked long enough. I was really disappointed. I can't afford to go out to eat, and my beautiful aunt offered to take me out for lunch. I threw the fish away without telling any one, for fear of embarrassing my sweet little aunt. I have always been satisfied, until 40.00, now.“
“Food is great but service is trash. We asked the waitress for refills on our drinks and lemons, she took more than 20 minutes that my wife had to get up and ask herself. Could bring drinks to other tables except us, She decided to come ask if everything was ok when my wife got up. Potatoes were so small that we asked if we could get more because that was super small for $1 each but according to her it’s above her pay to even ask. Didn’t even check on us after that. Hopefully the owner sees this and makes it right.“
“I would like to thank Leonard for greeting me with a friendly smile especially since this was my 1st time here he helped me go through the huge assortment of combinations of plates that are the most delicious shrimp and fish that I've had in years it reminded me of when my grandfather would cook up our shrimp and fish It came out amazingly hot and fresh For a small little place it is a hidden gem I highly recommend this location their prices are very fair for the amount of food that you get the quality of food and the flavor there's approximately 10 tables to sit at and a large screen TV watch Thank you Leonard for my 1st time experience sir it certainly will not be my last“
“Stopped here for the first time yesterday. Beautiful place right on the river. Our server Matthew was great. He was friendly and attentive, helped with food recommendations, and nice conversation. I will definitely be back to eat here again.“
“Small town cafe' atmosphere with great tasting food and service. Recommend the onion rings , smash berger , bbq crabs and gumbo wife and I ordered. Our waitress Jasmine was polite and helpful. Appears to have a dedicated working staff.“
“Boy I was in for a surprise when I came into this place. The second I walked in I was greeted by the nice young tall cashier man, who was delighted to take my order. I ordered the wings and some shrimp, and oh how tasty that was. It turned my perspective on food entirely, because of how delicious and delicate the food was. The crunch from the wings were perfect, every bite I took was immaculate. Every time I chewed you could hear the crisp of the wings. The second I bit into the shrimp the seasoning blew me. It was new joy I found from eating food. A new sensation. The food was good would come again.“
“I've found the fast food at the name brand places too high and the food not five star neither...this Family run place has real good food at a good price. I wish they could open early and close late with more on their menu but, if it hurts what they have now I will take back my suggestion. Thanks for the Good food....“
“Seaside seafood is a restaurant based in Southeast Texas that specializes in fried seafood as the name might suggest. Although, there is stiff competition in that general area, this place has been my go to recently. I usually order their salt and pepper shrimp dinner plate which comes with 6 pc shrimp, 1 bread, salad, and your choice of french fries or shrimp fried rice. Their shrimp is always so crispy and the salt and pepper may be overbearing for some, but paired with sides is perfect to me. Typically, I do get it to-go, as I normally and getting something for just myself, but the interior has more than enough space and is rather clean. The parking situation is a little tight but nothing to stress over.“
“They do stop taking orders no later than 8:30pm during the week, don't know about the weekends. I haven't been in years cause everything tasted the same years back but I gave them another try when my Bestfriend wanted some, they have upped the flavor. The Popcorn Shrimp was good but their size was like a lima bean size, very, very small or even cocktail shrimp cut in half & battered. It cost her almost $12 for a Jumbo size container with the rice...mind you the container was like a med container but was crammed full. Their food is always fresh but its the flavor and size for me. I say try them for yourself to see what you think...“
“This place might not look like much on the outside, but they have excellent food. I eat here often. Don't miss out on the hand cut onion rings, they are the BEST! The portions are generous and the staff are friendly. A must try if you haven't been before. There are a few small tables inside, but I always get my orders to-go.“
