“This is a place we regularly visit when in the area. This visit occurred on a Thursday evening. Parking is a bit tight, but we always find a spot. Our party of six, four adults and two small children, were seated without wait.My wife and I had oysters on the half-shell, boiled shrimp, chicken & sausage gumbo, a cocktail, and a bottled beer. Everyone thought their respective food choices were very good!Two beers, an old fashioned, a dozen oysters, a half-pound of boiled shrimp, a side of potato salad (when you order gumbo they ask if you would like potato salad with it, they don't tell you it's an extra $2.49) and a cup of chicken & sausage gumbo came to $58.41 before tip.We will continue to dine here!“

“My husband and I enjoyed an early dinner at The Tree this evening. It had been a while since we’ve been there…and realized we’ve really been missing out! We had the fried shrimp and fish combo and the cajun catfish dinners and both were fresh, full of flavor and plentiful. The biscuits were a nice touch too. But OMG…the handmade cinnamon rolls are definitely the bomb!!! (And only on Thursdays). Service and ownership are top notch! A must try and a true gem in Lumberton!“
“We dined in on a Saturday afternoon. Our server wasn't attentive what so ever. He wasn't overwhelmed with tables as the rush hadn't hit yet. He was more concerned about being at the server station on his phone..We all ordered cokes (5) and we all got Dr Pepper. He didn't pick up the Dr pepper He crowded the table with cokes. He didn't get my order of 5 correct. Everyone ate and as they finished I got my food. The food was great. The service was awful. No drink refills. It was just a disaster. Idk if we will return . It's expensive time to eat for so many hiccups.“

You buy them by the pound and they will help you determine what you need if you tell them how many people you're going to be feeding. They will skin them and fillet them for you right there so you will be ready to cook! G&S also has Shrimp, Oysters, and other kinds of fish. They will also have Crawfish when in season!! “Don’t expect anything fancy here, this is basically a takeout place for some great fried catfish, fried shrimp, or fried oysters. They have other things on the menu, including non-fried seafood choices, but I opted for the fried stuff. It was terrific. Skip the fries and go for rice unless you’re eating-in or plan to reheat the fries in an air fryer at home. The fries are tasty, but they get weak fast.“
“Best cheese burger ever! No, really! This is the best flat top burger in BMT. Every neighborhood needs a Mr Burger. This was our third time in about a year and each time has been delicious. This place is a really good reason for someone to never eat another fast food burger.“

“Went here with my parents and honestly was a pleasant surprise discovery. Food is good. The Bahn Mi was a bit greasier than I expected but it's served with fresh jalapenos and I was able to get a few more to help cut the grease. The Muffuletta is at least 2 meals worth and is delicious.“
