“Best crawfish Ive ever had. Ive heard of this place from coworkers, was passing thru and gave it a shot. Most places in Houston make it too spicy. This was perfect. Boudin balls were good. Potatoes were fat. The sauce was good. Great service, cool atmosphere. friendly staff. Food was fast. Its 2 hours from my house, im sure i will comeback in the near future. There crawfish is worth it.“

“I am actually an employee here and my coworkers are phenomenal and incredibly attentive. Funny and respectful. The overall energy of the entire restaurant is just relaxing and classy. The kitchen pays attention to detail and makes gorgeous and delicious food. In case any customers were wondering if the employees are treated well behind the scenes.....WE ARE. I find our boss to be the most down to earth boss I've ever had. The type of boss to get in the kitchen and help his employees if they need it. He jokes with us, works with us, and helps us to be our best at all times. Which is never an issue because he won't tell us to do anything he wouldn't do and hasn't already done himself. I've never worked in such a wonderful environment. And hope to work and eat here for a very long time.“
“I had the 4 piece fish. It came to the table molten lavas hot, fresh and tasty. The batter was crispy and the fish was cooked perfectly. Sides were delicious, I think their coleslaw is among the best in town. The red beams and rice were as good as anything I've gotten in New Orleans! The only suggestion is to offer a 2 piece option, because I couldn't finish it.“

Only issue we had was that he was also our server and had more interest in her customers at the bar than us, so we felt neglected, refills were scarce and we had to get up and wave her over... “We were a walk in group of 8 and waited about 15 minutes (probably less) for a table on a Friday night during early crawfish season.The kids menu and pricing is so worth it!! They had their chicken tenders and fries and munched off anything else we ordered.I recommend:Cheese puffs (crispy and creamy)Beignets (we all enjoyed them)I didn’t have any seafood but it seems like everyone else enjoyed it. The only critiques were the lobster tails were slightly overcooked and the pasta was a little bland.Service was on point for sure and we appreciated the friendliness and patience since we had 4 kids with us.“
“i tried Golden Hooks for the first time today and it was a good decision. i ordered the wing (3) & shrimp (8) plate (comes w/ fries & drink) for $12 & i feel it was worth it. fries were good, shrimp were good but their wings are a good size and taste soooo good. my friend tried them and we immediately went back in to place her an order. she got the 6pc wing & fries (no drink) for $11 and she totally enjoyed it. so if you’re gonna try anything, i definitely recommend the wings!!!! i also want to add that the service was good as well.“
“The most delicious take-away crawfish money can by. The per-pound price is the best I've seen. I had the spicy with extra potatoes and a sausage link. Everything was cooked and season to absolute perfection. I would go everyday if I could. I recommend this place to all my friends. The line can wind into the street but they move through pretty quick. Seemed like a large line my first visit (30ish cars) moved through in like 20 minutes. Good service and even better food!“

“I've been eating at Jim's since I was a kid, and the food is always awesome! The quality of their food has never changed. It's fresh, delicious, and made to order so it's always hot when served to you. Their prices and their service are great too! The popcorn shrimp dinner is my favorite, but everything on the menu is awesome! I highly recommend Jim's if you want some amazing fried seafood!Kid-friendliness: I took my 12 year old nephew to eat at Jim's and he loved it! I've been eating at Jim's since I was a kid so it's definitely a kid friendly place. I don't know any kids who don't love popcorn shrimp and fries.“
“There was plenty of parking. Despite not having a reservation, we didn't have to wait long to be seated. Waitress was very patient with us as we waited for remaining members of our party to arrive. While we waited we ordered the boudin egg rolls as an appetizer. They were wonderful. The blackened redfish I ordered as my meal was fantastic. We couldn't have asked for a better waitress. So our first experience at Nina-P's was a positive one.“

“We didn't have a problem getting a table after ordering our food even though the parking lot looked packed so don't let that deter you from coming in. Our group tried the fried alligator, wings, cajun chicken strips, fried fish, and shrimp etouffee potato, all were very good and would try again. I'm salt sensitive and the gumbo was a little too salty for me, but that is me. I've also never had a lousiana roll and i loved it. I also got the wings which were yummy and crispy and you get about 8 wings. Would def come here again if I'm visiting. The portions are def filling and will stuff you if you eat it all in one sitting. I will say they are very friendly and great service. Our waiter was attentive and gave us to go sodas, she checked on us several times and food came out timely and the men giving us our food were very nice and even talked to us for a few minutes since we were out of towners. The only regret is not getting some of that dessert cause it looked so yummy all of it.“
