“My wife and I went to Popeyes on Lake Street at about 5:15 p.m., they had no customers in the lobby and 3 employees hanging around the front counter. We were not recognized at all! We waited for about 45 seconds and eye contact was finally made and still not greeted. One of the girls finally asked if they could take our order, I started to tell her that I wanted to order a 16 piece family meal and she literally walked away and didn't say a word! We immediately left and decided to go try Golden Chick. When we arrived we were immediately greeted by a polite young lady and a young man named Jacob. We found out that it was the young ladies first day and Jacob was training her, he explained everything on the menu to us that we asked about all while training her. I can't say enough about this young man. And his attention to the customers, we were very pleased with our experience in the food was fantastic. Definitely will be back and never going to Popeyes on lake street again..“

“WOW!! Best Pizza Hut around! Ordering was a breeze! I ordered for pick up. When I went to go pick up my order the employees there were extremely welcoming as soon as I opened the door! What an energetic team! My order was perfectly cooked to my liking! Would highly recommend! 🍕“

“The staff here is amazing. My husband and I were out doing doordash and unfortunately broke down in the parking lot. The manager came out and made sure we were good and helped out where she could. I know it's not food related, but I felt the staff deserved a shout out. Thank you!!“

“Have not been to an Arby’s since the “Mall-hub” days back in the late 90’s…saw some negative reviews & was astonished! We were greeted as we entered by staff, the cashier was friendly & informed on menu options, and though we waited for 11 minutes…the staff brought us our food to our table (other restaurants simply call you for pickup at the counter) and even apologized for the delay. I must admit, I felt a sense of nostalgia dining here today (wish service was as good as it used to be again)! Also, the eating area smelt clean, and the decor seemed corporate-level appropriate…inviting to customers. The food was tasty, hot & met expectations….only negative is that one of their condiment spouts was a little dirty & almost empty…& our table was not mounted & slid a bit when we sat. Wish we had this place where we live…here you get attitudes from young workers & old bosses that clearly hate their jobs!“

“I love this subway. The employee named Naomi always makes my sandwiches perfectly and without complaint or judgement (I’m very picky). I will say though the bathrooms were not the best, but I do not fault the employees. There’s this little thrift shop right next to the subway, that gets real busy, and I notice people love to come in and out of the subway to not get food but just use the bathroom. I hope this subway considers getting a key for there bathrooms, or implicates a “bathroom for customers only” rule. Other than that I love this subway and their employees.“

“Good burgers. Were less expensive than the competition. I was surprised at how big, hearty and flavorful they were for what I payed. Their fries are famous for a reason. They did not disappoint. I gave them an all around 4 star rating based on disbelief. Surely they are not a perfect organization. I will be a regular customer and up them up a star based on performance, integrity, and overall commitment to customer satisfaction.“

“Aiden was FANTASTIC! I am a very picky eater. Aiden didn't make me feel bad about having my sandwich a certain way unlike other locations. He was very professional and polite the entire process. “My 1st experience here 8/29/24 was terrible. The "top picks" Elite Chicken & Bacon Ranch sandwich sounded delicious, so I ordered it via the app. I let them know I placed an online order & was waiting at 1 of their tables. They flagged me down right when they finished making my sandwich & I immediately drove over to the Golden Nugget. I was famished, so unfortunately, I inhaled the 1st half on the drive over - yuck, it was cold!! ? After I parked, I double-checked my receipt & it definitely showed "toasted" on it, but they definitely did not toast nor warm anything on my sandwich. It made my tummy off - I couldn't finish the rest of it, so I sadly threw the rest of the footlong away. ?

After my extremely disappointing sandwich, I provided my 1st Subway survey feedback. A couple of days later, I was surprised that I got an email from the owner. In order to try to rectify the mistake, she offered me a free replacement footlong. ❤️

I'm not a local, so I had to wait a bit to redeem the sandwich on my next Lake Charles road trip. Fast forward to 11/5/24 - I finally redeemed my free footlong. ? Instead of ordering something new/exciting, I just went with my traditional favorite, the meatball sub. Definitely hit the spot with the usual Subway deliciousness!! ?“

This is not a jab, it makes me sad to see how impolite and rude the overall experience I see going on around me every time I enter the Dairy Queen. Customers are always mad, it’s a tense atmosphere, I’ve been asked “What you want” when I walked up to the counter one time, and I felt like I was being a problem for wanting to order food. I still love Dairy Queen and always will, i left 5 stars, only 2 for the atmosphere. I am older and I’m sure I will get a lot of hate, but I’m old enough to speak my opinion too. “I just have to make a good comment about my experience today! My little boy and I went here to get us a drink. The kiddo ordered a blue coconut slush, but asked for 2 cherries in it, not the flavoring, but the actual cherry, because he likes to eat them. Our drinks came out, and he didn't have any cherries (granted I was charged for syrup, anyways), so after handing the carhop her tip, I asked her if she wouldn't mind grabbing just 2 cherries for my baby, and said sure. She came back with a kid cup full of the cherries! The look on my kiddos face was priceless! He was so excited about those cherries. It's not always the big stuff in life that makes us happy. So, thank you to the wonderful lady that put a huge grin on my boys face 30 mins ago. It is definitely appreciated!“
