“This place was great ! Tessy was super nice , it was my first time trying out a new pizza spot. I just moved from Montana so I really didn’t know what’s good here. I walked in and at first I was a little iffy because no one said hello. A young woman cleaning the tables stopped walked around and introduced her self and helped me understand the concept. “I know this is late ... But it was so good looking we couldn't wait . I really wish I got his name , but the guy with braces up there who's apparently about to be the manager so I heard . He made our pizzas absolutely perfect , I usually don't like little Caesars because they never make the pizzas with love . But this guy has made our pizzas perfect the last two times we have went . Cheese actually all the way to the crust , and didn't over load our pizza with sauce . Toppings were beautifully spaced out . I worked for pizza hut for years and took pride making pizzas , and this guy is for sure doing it right !!!“

“It’s very “Louisiana” in here and very much so giving “Cheers” vibes. The hubs and I loved our first visit, and one of first few dinners in Lake Charles spent trying out this local gem. Upon looking at the mixed reviews, I admittedly had mixed feelings. But, the movers recommended that we stop by so that’s exactly what we did. We cozied up to the bar, met a few regulars, and had an amazing night of laughs and great food at Cajun’s Wharf. The plan was to check it out and go unnoticed, but that was not the case. It appears that you can’t go inside and not make friends here. Hence, the earlier Cheers reference. TK is a stone-faced sweetheart (but, shhh… I don’t think she wants anyone to know), took excellent care of us, and gave perfect recommendations.
Sidebar: We were so close to trying “backstrap” as noted and seconded by everyone in earshot, but they were out. Next time, for sure. (Because… when in Rome, you clearly eat backstrap! lol)

But, back to what we did try. The duck tenders, the eggs rolls (boudin version), the fried catfish and shrimp were all delish, seasoned well of course, and came out quickly.

The daily specials were also appealing, and we’ll definitely be back as I want to try a burger.

P.S.— I love that they have Crown Peach.

“Went and picked up pizza and waited which the man did say they had a 12 pizza order that had just came in as I placed mine that they were finishing. But when I did get mine I went home and dropped to my husband. He called the number because the pizza and the breakdsticks were wrong. He talked to someone and went back to get it. When he got there another man supposedly the manager came and helped him and made rude comments because they got the pizza wrong the first time. Well that wasn't our fault and he shouldn't have been rude and making comments about it.“
