“My wife and daughter and I went to Luna's yesterday, as my wife grew up in Lake Charles and said that Luna's was THE local hangout when she was growing up. With good reason, I found out. The restaurant was a delight. The food was amazing (I had a fantastic hamburger and a really good salad), and the atmosphere made me smile (all around us, throwback posters and paintings from 80s music and 90s movies). “Went during tbe lunch rush and the people that were working were the best they made sure to take our order nice a quick. Seating wasnt the best but we found a spot but thats what I get for coming for the lunch rush. We got our food pretty quick and it was pretty good! I got the rosbeff sandwiches for $8 not a bad price for a nice healthy sandwiche. Only down side is they dont sell there cinnamon Bread by the slice just by the lof. Im broke so I couldnt get any cinnamon bread which was super sad. It was a overall a good time.“

“It is a very comfortable atmosphere. It is a high end steakhouse. It is a little pricey, but beef is expensive. They offer exceptional quality steaks, several to choose from to include Japanese A5 Wagyu beef. Maybe one day I will try it. Very expensive cut of meat. I have never been disappointed with my food. I have had the filet,and the 20 ounce bone in, and a couple others. Always cooked to perfection. I always have had extraordinary service when dining there. It is a nice rsstaraunt, probably should dress a little better, but it is in a casino and I like to be comfortable. Shorts and t-shirt usually. They are always welcoming!“

“******Highly Recommend ****^ My 87 year old mother, my sister in law and I had lunch at Augustine’s today at their grand opening. The lunch was fantastic! We started with delicious appetizers-crab claws in butter, onion soup, and truffle fries with Parmesan cheese. Absolutely delicious. We then enjoyed the fried oyster salad with cornbread bread crumbs (yummy!) and the chicken flatbread with balsamic vinegar and I think honey. You had to roll us out of the door as we ate every bite! “My kids and I typically eat here every Thursday for lunch and we have been impressed each time. The employees always seem to be in a great mood and the food is fresh. Customer service has always been great especially Mr Willy. He is great with the kids and very friendly. He helps get my kids settled into the booth while I fixed their plates and even helps with refills. He is one of the main reasons we will keep coming back!“

Arrived at 515p out by 540p. The food is always delicious but the atmosphere killed it. Very fast loud music, difficult to hold a conversation at the table.“

“We’ve lived in Lake Charles for years now, it’s taken us so long to find a good Chinese place (our favorite is general wok in Jennings, LA) but I think we found our favorite in Lake Charles. We shared the general chicken, lo mein, and egg drop soup. Everything came out quickly and was fresh and delicious. Probably the best egg drop soup we’ve had in a long time. The staff was very kind in the phone and in person. We will definitely be back soon.“

“We had a great experience dining here on 6/3/23. The dozen oysters on the half shell were very tasty. My husband had the catfish and commented on how it was the best he has had in a very long time. I had the burger and fries and it was absolutely delicious! Thanks for accommodating all my food allergies. It’s difficult but you all really tried and I appreciate it very much. Finally, we had great service from Brook and enjoyed eating on the patio. Keep up the great work. Food service is a grueling job but you all did it so effortlessly!“
