“My wife and daughter and I went to Luna's yesterday, as my wife grew up in Lake Charles and said that Luna's was THE local hangout when she was growing up. With good reason, I found out. The restaurant was a delight. The food was amazing (I had a fantastic hamburger and a really good salad), and the atmosphere made me smile (all around us, throwback posters and paintings from 80s music and 90s movies). Plus the wait staff was very friendly. If you're looking for a good restaurant to do dinner with family and friends, this is the place to go.“

I would call the dress attire "classy business casual" as the atmosphere seems to call for perfectly down the middle.Service was great, the food was perfection & priced accordingly. “My memories of good times at Tony's Pizza go back to the early 70s and through the years when the dining room was expanded, the new shiny tables were added, and various menu additions like the medium sized Chicago-style pizza crust, the iconic po-boy bbq sauce being out-sourced along with appetizer and dessert items being added and the imported candies on the front counter. The Italian Sausage Po-Boy is memorable for its amazing flavor and ability of the lovely aroma of spices that you could savor at home the next morning when you awoke. The ground beef pizza with the jalapeno topping that were also ground was revolutionary and incredibly smart and it's remarkable that I haven't seen ground jalapenos replicated by a pizza restaurant in the fifty years since. I now live near Austin, TX and we have a number of pizza restaurants representing a variety of pizza types from Brooklyn, Neapolitan, Detroit, Connecticut, California, that are baked in a traditional pizza oven, wood-fired, coal-fired, etc. and many that are nationally ranked and reviewed and I love most all of them, but there's something iconic and exemplary about Tony's Pizza in Lake Charles with the toppings, sauce, and their pizza crust that I love today as I have the last fifty years. It's Lake Charles style!“

“Saturday evening we went to Ob's for an early mother's day supper. It was 4 adults and two children. We ordered their snow crab and shrimp combo, which also came with 2lbs of crawfish free. We also ordered pickles and peppers, a chicken basket, and classic cheeseburger.My kids loved the chicken basket and the cheeseburger.Our platters of shrimp and crab were AMAZING.My sister ordered the ultimate platter and she said everything was so good, I tried her mushrooms and they were great.The beer was cold the rum punch was strong.The food was AMAZING. Arrived at 515p out by 540p. The food is always delicious but the atmosphere killed it. Very fast loud music, difficult to hold a conversation at the table.“
