Food was good. Only drawback is the waitress decided to keep my loose change. They were tipped 20%. It’s not up to them to decide that. It’s my money I can and will decide what to do with it. Do better!
I have never had a bad experience at Luna’s. I’ve only been in Lake Charles since March. Hands down one of my favorite places. Friendly staff! The cosmic sauce has me in a chokehold, it goes with just about anything!

Based on the reviews, Luna Bar and Grill South is a hidden gem with amazing food and a welcoming atmosphere. The food is really good, with everyone enjoying their dishes. Specific meals mentioned include the turkey burger, Orion salmon, tuna Cassidy, chicken Ella, Dragon Tuna Steak, Uranus “grilled pork chop”, A. Bourdain salad with shrimp, artichoke dip, corn & crab bisque, crawfish avocado, fried avocado with crawfish, and the petite Apollo. The drinks are also very delicious, with the lemon drop being the absolute best. The atmosphere is great, though it can be a little cool inside and loud due to reverb off the walls. The outdoor patio is very pet friendly and relaxing. The staff is polite, friendly, and attentive, doing a great job of making sure guests are okay even when the kitchen is short-staffed. The price is great, with lunch for a family of six under $100. The food is fresh and worth the wait. This place is definitely recommended and a great place to stop for lunch.
