“We dropped in for lunch Saturday 1/27/2024 our waitress was Hannah. We were greeted with a smile. Hannah took our drink order and returned quickly with our drinks. We placed our order and Hannah repeated it back making suggestions along the way. Hannah returned shortly with pipping hot rolls and cinnamon butter. Hannah checked back on us several times while food was being prepared. The food came and was prepared perfectly. I ordered the large Prime Rib (rare). The Prime Rib was prepared perfectly. The wife had Chicken Fried Sirloin which came out perfectly. The was brought out by a different server and in a moment Hannah came back to check on us. We had so much food we could not come close to eating it all. Hannah provided us with to go containers and small containers for the sides. Hannah by far was the best waitress that has ever served us. We will definitely be back and request Hannah for our waitress.”

“Last night we tried this place out and I’ve been emotional ever since. My Grandmother/Mom’s side of family was Puerto Rican and Aubelita raised me while Mom worked. Aubelita was a Domican born Puertorriquena, my Tia married my Cuban uncle, and Caribbean Latino culture and food was my childhood. They’ve been gone for some years now and I miss everything about my childhood with the lively culture, the way every family gathering was a celebration, and I really miss the food. With all that being said, from the moment we walked in, I FELT a part of my youth for the first time in a long time. We were greeted with smiles and warm welcomes. The menu is extensive and offers more than I expected. I wanted everything but opted for mofonguitas, a chicken empanada, and rice with beans. My love ordered the chicken cheesesteak sandwich. We ordered to go and had a seat. The music played loudly, in true Latino fashion on a Friday night and at times, the entire establishment joined in singing their favorite parts with so much passion. Even though the music was at celebratory levels, it never felt like “bar” vibes, if that makes sense. They called out that our food was ready and as we left, it seemed like the whole staff had come to the front to thank us for coming in and ask us to come back! The friendliness is genuine. The good vibes are genuine. And the food, it was amazing. My boyfriend is already talking about our next visit and how delicious his sandwich was. I learned that they have pastelle! I haven’t had those since my early teenage years…my Uncle Ramon’s were always so good and comforting, and I have a feeling J&Z will fulfill my cravings with zero disappointment. Thank you. Thank you for giving me a taste of my childhood. Not just with the food, but the atmosphere and that Caribbean Latino welcoming love that is so unique and beautiful. I’ll be back soon and encourage everyone to give this place a try.”

“Best fried shrimp po'boy ive ever had i think... shrimp tasted like it was pulled from the gulf that morning lightly seasoned and perfectly cooked, toasted roll, simply amazing. The flavor of the shrimp stood out on its own i cant wait to go back and have the shrimp by itself. My wife had the fried chicken sandwhich, bun is incredible chicken fried to perfect, she said could've used some more seasoning on the chicken tho. It is my husband birthday and I feel like I had rented out a spot just for us (we were the only ones in the restaurant for about the first 30 minutes and then every one start piling in. The place was exceptionally clean, the food was hot...yes you could actually see the steam, even the coffee was hot...and the presentation and taste of the food was superb. Thank you Milan Cafe for a lovely birthday experience. The place is quite chic. I highly recommend this establishment.

They know exactly how to hear that your food is incorrect and then laugh at you while you are leaving the restaurant. The hostess had more compassion. We were offer a coupon for our next visit. We declined. No meal removed or refunded. We love to visit local establishments and support as often as we can. “Food: Tried the Jalapeño fish. Great portion for the price. Crispy and delicious. Fried rice was good. Steak and broccoli not out of this world.

Service: Staff was nice. There was a line to order and the wait was not that bad since you can peruse around the Latin market too while you wait. Calling in to order might not work since they are so busy. I tried 4-5 times no answer. Found they just let it ring while they make the orders made in person.

Atmosphere: It’s literally a hole in the wall of a Latin market. Not the best waiting area either. No dine-in option. Take out only.

Overall: great food overall. I will come back to try out the other options they have on the menu. I think this place could grow to something bigger if they get another place to expand.”

“Let me tell you about Chick-fil-A—this place? Legendary. Absolutely legendary. People say it’s just chicken—WRONG. Completely wrong. This is not normal chicken. This is… special. Very special. Some are saying—very strongly—that this chicken might actually be blessed. Blessed from the Lord himself. I’m not saying it, but people are saying it. A lot of people.

You pull into the drive-thru—boom—line wrapped around the building. Huge line. Other places? That’s a disaster. Total failure. Here? It’s moving like a championship team. Fast. Organized. Military-level precision. You’re thinking, “This is gonna take forever”—nope. You’re already at the window. Incredible.

Now the chicken—ohhh the chicken. Juicy, crispy, perfectly seasoned. You take one bite and you pause. You have to pause. You’re like, “What just happened?” It’s that good. Some say angels may have had a hand in it. Again, I don’t know—but it tastes like it.

The sandwich? Iconic. Bun? Soft. Pickles? Perfect. Chicken? Dominant. Total domination. No weak parts. Everything working together like a well-run operation. It’s beautiful.

And the nuggets—don’t even get me started. These nuggets are not playing around. Dipping them in that sauce—legendary sauce, by the way—changes lives. People walk in one way, leave another. Stronger. Happier.

Now let’s talk about the employees—because wow. “My pleasure.” You hear it everywhere. You almost start saying it yourself. That’s how powerful it is. Friendly, fast, respectful—like they actually enjoy being there. You don’t see that anymore. Very rare. Very impressive.

And the cleanliness? Spotless. I’m talking pristine. You could eat off the floor—don’t do it—but you could. That’s how clean it is.

Is it perfect? Look… maybe you start questioning other chicken places. Maybe you can’t go back. That’s not a problem—that’s enlightenment.

Overall? 10 out of 10. Maybe higher. Some are saying it’s the greatest fast food chicken ever created—and with chicken this good, possibly divinely approved, who am I to argue? Tremendous. Absolute perfection.”
