“Found this place while working down here once and now it has been a “must stop” every time since. From the breakfast croissants to the pastries and other treats, to the coffee and tea, all very nice quality and so good. It’s really hard to go wrong here as everything looks as good as it tastes.10/10 must stop in if you are in the area. This place will not disappoint.”

“Good food, unique service, beginner atmosphere. This place has so much potential I hope to see it one day after it grows bigger. To dine in you have to grab a menu and then go to the cashier and order your meal. The food spiciness is American level, so if you truly want spicy let them know. Overall the food was awesome though wish I knew about the spicy before hand (barely to non felt the heat). Over all would come back.”

“My daughter and I love coming to Mama Kim’s. Every Friday, they serve smoked brisket pho which sells very quickly because everyone loves it.My daughter is a vegetarian and eats the Pho Khong with cabbage instead of noodles (pictured). She also loves the hot jasmine tea.I typically have the pho but recently have been trying the #32 which is beef cubes over rice…(forgive me but I don’t know the name of it yet…I just know it’s wonderful). We also get a side salad.We love the atmosphere here as well, but more than anything, we love Kim! She’s so sweet and such a diligent person who always has a smile on her face. She really cares about her patrons.My daughter has known her since before she opened this restaurant and became so close from visiting her at the restaurants she has worked and now owns that she sees Kim as family.Kim, we love you and are so proud of your hard work. We look forward to all of your accomplishments and getting to see all the smiles you put on the faces of the people you serve.Vegetarian options: Anything on the menu is modifiable to be vegetarian.”

“Nice brewery in downtown Nederland. The flight of beer was not a bad price either! $15 to sample 4 beers. The beer- the red ale was good, the German pilsner (frau nau) was very hoppy/IPA- After living in Germany 11yrs I was a bit sad to have that taste, not a traditional pils. There cream coffee one (avenue B) was good. The Amadeus Lager Vienna was also hoppy/IPA, not as bad as the Frau Nau. But not a typical lager from Austria. Overall, good experience, nice staff, clean and fair prices. If I go bad, I'd try different beers to see if I find one I like.”

Nothing fancy but good place to grab a solid lunch. Portion sizes are large . Parking lot is large and we had no wait at 11:20 on a weekday.”

“Outstanding tacos. First time to eat here and got tacos. Al Pastor and Steak were excellent as were the sauces. Great flavor. Wife got a hard taco and the shells are fried in house. She says they are excellent. And all very reasonably priced. I will be back.”
