“Mama Kim’s in Nederland absolutely lived up to the hype and made a fantastic first impression. The food was incredibly fresh, the service was genuinely top notch, and the atmosphere was welcoming from the moment we walked in. This was our first visit, we made the drive specifically because they’re opening a new location in Lumberton soon and we wanted to see what everyone was talking about. It was worth the trip—every dish tasted freshly made, came out hot, and was full of flavor, and the staff checked on us often without ever feeling overbearing. Overall, Mama Kim’s delivered exactly what we were hoping for and more, and it makes us even more excited to have a location coming to Lumberton. We’ll definitely be back.”

The staff Arlette, Stephanie, Vanessa, Brenda and Alejandra are very friendly, always has a smile, the food is always hot and you get a very good size portion, the owner Fidel walks up to every table and greets you with a smile and shakes your hand. If you haven’t tried Juanita’s Country Kitchen you need too. You will not be disappointed.”

“On my quest to find tacos at a reasonable price im going to have to recommend De-Leon’s Deli (more like a taqueria to me). It’s in the back corner of a major brand gas station. The parking is limited and there’s not much place to sit down maybe none at all. Anyways they have quite a large menu including this plate of 6mini tacos for 7.99$. There is many meats to choose from including a tasty chicharron in green salsa, el pastor, barbacoa, and others.. they also sell Gordita’s and on certain days Chile relenos.”

“Tried this spot one day while working down in Nederland, wasn’t thinking much of it other than I’m going to get some food and go about my day. Let me tell you!!!! I ordered the queso burger and I caught myself moaning with each bite, like it was the best thing I’ve put in my mouth in a looooong time. That whole day I couldn’t stop thinking about it. And I’m not much of a food person, I eat bc I have to. I rarely dream about food, hardly ever think about it. But I could NOT get this burger out of my head. I was hooked, and so I ventured out there a few more times within the next couple weeks, each experience the same as the first. I dunno what kind of voodoo magic they got going on in that kitchen, but WOWZA! This places has me hooked. Not only is the food delicious, but the staff are so friendly and attentive. After one order, they knew what I wanted everytime I walked in that door. Now I don’t recommend a lot of places to eat especially in this area, but if you only knew what you are missing out on, you would make the drive. Call me crazy but I’m officially addicted to food, just this food and I want it ALL the time. The Dude’s food should be renamed as Carli’s Food ☺️ bc I just can’t get enough of it. This place deserves a 10 Star rating⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“AMAZING!!!! The best crawfish I have had in my 76 years on this earth. Perfectly cooked and seasoned with NO DEAD ONES in 6 pounds of product. The only place I will ever buy boiled crawfish. I hope the owners make tons of money and pay the cook(s) well. Cost is well worth paying for the quality of the crawfish!”

“Visited For the Love of Foods for the first time and had such a great experience! Jesse (sp?) was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable…she took the time to answer all my questions and made me feel so welcome. She told me all about why she does what she does and her processes. Explained all the details about what was on the menu. You can tell she truly cares about what she does. And the food… absolutely amazing! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. I will definitely be back! The portion sizes were enough for 2 meals in one. Today for lunch and dinner I had the crab Rangoon burrito..delicious. I got the chicken taco salad bowl for another meal this week. If you haven’t been by, check them out.”

“My boys and I tried Farmhouse yesterday for the first time and it was delicious! I had toasted marshmallow with white chocolate chips. One of my boys got strawberry lemonade with nerds and my other son got chocolate and toasted marshmallow mixed with brownie pieces. We all enjoyed it! We will definitely be returning!”

“Had a dinner date with my wife here tonight and we were both happy with the food and service. Get the lobster tail, scallops, catfish, shrimp, flounder, and raw oysters. The calamari was chewy, the onion rings were meh, but all-in-all, great experience. We will definitely be back and post a glowing google review. Seating was great and readily available for early dinner accommodations. The Jack Frost margaritas were lightweight but tasty all the same. Don’t hesitate to make substitutions for the platters if there’s something you know you would prefer instead of one or two of the items.”

The salt and pepper wings are 10/10. The lo mein is an honorable mention. As far as Chinese takeout goes they are top tier for sure.

If you walk in yes it's a hole in the wall, yes it's humid, and no you shouldn't eat in the restraunt, it's Chinese >take out<. When you see that old man making that food you know it's gonna be bomb.”

“Been my favorite place to get a burger lately. Foods a little small but I still get full. Everything is very very affordable and worth the price. Also, the employees are on it. Every time I go there it takes barely a minute to get my food. Don't know what that says about how they store the food but I wouldn't eat at a checkars if I cared. Lots of love to this place and the staff.”
