“Wow, you are going to love Robin‘s bakery items from Baked Blessings located in Orange Texas that’s a true step back in time for homemade quality and customer service.We have tried the carrot cake German chocolate cake peanut butter cookies and oatmeal raisin cookies all were excellent! We order over the phone and it’s usually ready in a day or so.Fun fact …if you need your boat worked on her husband owns the boat repair shop next-door!”

“We had the catered brisket dinners for our wedding rehearsal dinner recently and it was absolutely delicious! The driver was prompt and courteous as well. The groom requested Old Orange Cafe bread pudding with rum sauce for his cake. It was a huge hit!! I highly recommend Chef David and Old Orange to cater your next event. We couldn’t be happier!”

The greatest bartending staff and well organized owners do a tremendous job running this bar so that others can make some pretty awesome memories. I would describe the aura of the bar as tight knit and everyone’s ready to go crazy and let loose. Comedy 409 has personally worked with this establishment and had a successful night of comedy all thanks to Stix’s fearless owner Carly Lange and her amazing team of bartenders. “Been eating here for YEARS ! some of the best fried seafood around ! Totally disappointed today. I called in an order 4:10 pm. They told me order would be ready in 15 minutes. I got there at 4:50 to pickup my food and go. They had not even started cooking my order....so what is the point of calling in an order ? FYI...they were NOT busy at all. I stood there another 20 minutes while they cooked my order. Then I noticed they charged me 1.00 more on EACH of the items I ordered than was priced on menu board IN the restaurant? I questioned the young man worker register and counter and he said " I dunno...only my 2nd day here." i said well u just cant charge more than advertised menu price ? He acted like he didn't care. THEN I get home and the TWO orders of garlic shrimp noodles i order have like 4 little shrimp in each. VERY disappointed. I am not one to usually gripe & all about supporting g the few restaurants we have in Groves...but yall gotta do WAY better than this !! Not sure IF I will be going back anytime soon.”

“We went to eat at Peggy’s Place today to try out their burgers. I typically don't order burgers because I just think there are way better things I could eat. However, the burgers at Peggy's are PHENOMENAL. You need a big appetite to eat one by yourself, so I suggest splitting one if you're not starving. Sourdough buns, fresh thick patties, delicious house made sauce, and tons of topping options. They have unique hours so check to make sure they are open before you go. It's 100% worth it. It is a one woman show most days, so please be patient with her. She waits the tables, cooks, cleans, and is the cashier. We will absolutely be back.”
