“First time trying Golden Chick. Got a family 12 pack of fried chicken, mashed potatoes and okra. The rolls were killer and the chicken was good. Okra was a little soggy for my taste and the mash was a little bland. Take their hot seasoning and mix it in the potatoes, though. It is worth it. it was all rather enjoyable and I am curious to try their roasted chicken aswell, next time.“

“I went the night before New Years. A sweet guy, I think his name was Jordon took my order. He had superb customer service manners. He was awesome. I give him a A+. The guy that handed me food was also exceptional! My food was very fresh. It was hot, the bun was soft, the hotdogs wasn't tough. The Chilli was fresh!!! The food was on point!!! So happy I stopped!“

“The place doesn’t look the best, not that it doesn’t feel clean, in fact for the type of building it is, it feels well taken care of, just feels like an old location, which can only be helped so much.

The people who I assume own or at least operate the place are super friendly and attentive. I’ve only been here twice but each time it was good. Customers were a bit on the rougher side being rude to the owners and such, but given the location and the fact it’s Beaumont I expect no less from the people that come in.

The food, it reminds me of a style of home cooking that isn’t extremely over the top of flavors, but isn’t offensively without flavor. It feels like someone is holding back to have a broader palette for those coming in, which is nice on the stomach which you might be having a rough day and you want more comfort than extremes.

The options are about what you’d expect from a chicken place. Pretty standard stuff, but the fish? I didn’t expect fried fish, or some of the other sides like dumplings and okra. And the baked chicken had a sauce it sits in that is amazing.

They have lots of ketchup, hot sauce, tartar sauce, and honey mustard. They have also have some other sauces you can buy separately which I assume is just par for Hartz buffet seeing as the one in port Arthur does the same, the fact they have a lot of other no additional charge options makes me not upset I can’t have barbecue sauce with my chicken.

If I had one complaint it was just that the yeast rolls didn’t last. Though to be fair I wasn’t the only one trying to get one because they were so fluffy and delicious.

All in all, it was great. Nothing bad happened yet and I hope it stays that way when I go back in the future.“

The tiny dollop of ice cream they give the kids for their kids meal is horrible. It literally just pisses your kid off.

This the ONLY store in 150m radius that always makes subs to the customers liking.! I politely asked for a big handful of onions on my sub, and that's exactly what he did. Can't remember his name but he was wearing a diamond studded cross around his neck, and he was very courteous.

“I walked in the other day and there was absolutely no one in there. No staff. A small alarm was going off and again nothing. I waited almost 10 minutes until a young woman came in. I got my order and left and as soon as I was driving out, they were all outside goofing off at the side of the restaurant. I usually have no issue with the staff and they are usually so sweet and nice. A little unprofessional guys. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because of this.“

“I haven't been to Arby's in YEARS. Their menu has changed a little. When I used to go, years ago, they only sold bugers with -like Turkey, Ham and cheese or something. Well that was at the location I used to visit. Now they have chicken bugers and etc. I was surprised 😮. They meal was good. The staff was friendly and speedy. My fries was fresh and hot.“

Coffee was totally stone cold. Did not provide stirrers for the same. The person serving us was having a hard time providing us with stirrers when requested for the same. So service needs to be improved and should not be frowned upon for asking stirrers for coffee.

Jesse (sp?) was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable…she took the time to answer all my questions and made me feel so welcome. She told me all about why she does what she does and her processes. Very respectful and caring people.If you are around this area off of m l , k , please stop by and see them it ordered a lot of tacos to feed the homeless 80 tacos to be exact and they were happy to make them no complaints as of other Jack in the box. Let me just tell y’all something about the McDonald’s on MLK in Beaumont, Texas — if you don’t know about that Hot ’n Spicy with lettuce, sauce, and pickles, you are missing LIFE completely. I don’t care if I’m in Las Vegas, Utah, or somewhere in Nevada minding my business — when I’m in the streets, I’m ordering a Hot ’n Spicy. It hits every single time like it’s personally trying to bless my spirit.

We pulled up, placed our order, and the girl at the drive‑through window was an absolute pleasure. Sweet, friendly, and had that “I got you, baby” energy that makes you feel like your food is about to be right. And she did not lie. My sandwich came out fresh, hot, and looking like a commercial. I took one bite and my mama looked over at me and said, “That looks good.” I said, “It IS,” with my whole chest.

So shout‑out to McDonald’s on MLK in Beaumont for doing what needs to be done. Quick service, good energy, and a Hot ’n Spicy that reminded me why I stay loyal. I’ll definitely be making another pit stop someday.“
