Had dinner at Sweet Basil while visiting with family in Beaumont. The food was excellent and the flavors were fabulous. The staff seemed to struggle with seating as almost every table that has six seats only had two people eating at the table while tables with four seats were empty. Our party of five had to wait quite a while for a party of two to finish eating and leave while tables with four seats sat empty. The service was good and the staff were warm and friendly. I took my 4 kids here after we did a bit of shopping. We all loved everything. It is a bit pricey, but it is so worth it. Their presentation is beautiful. The service was great. The waiter didn't even write anything down. (He used his notepad in his brain)I am going to take my hubby to try soon. I won't be bringing my kids back. [Not because of anything the restaurant did. They are too young to truly appreciate the high-end food here is all]
