“I worked late on a business trip and decided to come here. The ambiance was great, I loved the restaurant decorations and vibes. I had a cocktail pineapple refresher which was kinda strong but tasted good. I had salmon Alexander which was a huge portion slightly too salty for me personally tho. But overall I had a great Louisiana style dinner.“
“Floyd's is always a great experience to gather with friends and family to enjoy great food and drinks. I've hosted many celebrations such as baby showers and birthday parties. My last visit was no different. I enjoyed a rib eye steak with a loaded bake potato and their dirty rice! I sipped on a their popular hurricane Floyd cocktail! Service was great! Our wait was only 5 mins. and our wait staff was attentive. I'll definitely will be going back!“
“If you haven’t experienced Hole in the Wall, then you’re missing out! We haven’t had had a bad meal from here. We love their spicy chicken lo mein, spicy orange beef, spicy noodles and eggrolls.Do yourself a favor and stop by Hole in the Wall.“
“I absolutely love Juju's crawfish. It's cooked and seasoned to perfection. I've been here twice so far, back to back. I just moved to kountze from Houston, and I've been searching around for crawfish. The crawfish is amazing and big in size. I highly recommend it.“
“Ordered the chicken, shrimp, scallop pasta and salt and pepper wings. Both were absolutely delicious!!! The chicken wings were crispy, hot, and seasoned to perfection. The pasta was veeeeery decadent, creamy, and flavorful. The texture is similar to a very soft mac n cheese. The service here was great and everyone was very friendly. I can’t wait to come back and try everything on the menu!!! PS— prices are very very good also.“
“We visited Bayou Cafe yesterday. The shrimp and catfish were excellent. My friend had a hamburger and it was nothing like the mass produced hamburgers you get at fast food restaurants. The service was great. I highly recommend this restaurant.“
“Some of the best Cajun food I've ever had. The smoked crab was the crown jewel of my plate. Smoky, buttery and they sprinkled a magic dust that you just couldn't help but lick your fingers. The fried green tomatoes were amazing as well. I already want to come back for that but the only set back was the wait staff. Didn't get friendly service, sprite was flat and asked for Dr pepper and it felt like I was bothering them. Then we didn't get any utensils, so I had to ask for that and basically got an eye roll. Lol But the food made everything better, so hopefully it was just a bad day for the 3 waitresses I dealt with. I definitely will be back tho. Thank you for the incredible food.“
“The crawfish is off the charts good! Only negative is Mike won't give me the recipe to his pink sauce! Seriously though, this place is always clean! Always great service even if they get hit with an unexpected rush these girls and guys kick it into high gear and make sure they take care of everyone as efficiently as possible!! The crawfish has some of the best flavor of any crawfish place around!! If you want some great crawfish, I definitely recommend Red Tailz!!“
“One word to describe the first bite. WOW! The oxtails were absolutely delicious. Never had anything like it. The macaroni was really good it was a lot of different flavors in it that I wasn’t expecting. The cabbage was amazing and the cornbread was sweet like cake. Customer service was great I was greeted and treated like a friend. I will definitely be returning to try different dishes from this restaurant. You guys should definitely check it out and don’t forget to get the Kool-Aid.“
“The few things I've tried have been excellent.Their fried jumbo shrimp is awesome. The size and flavor are 5+ star level. Price comparable to others. Best flavor in the area. The lo mein is really good. I call it my Asian spaghetti and order it the most. Base price is nice, but to add extra is a bit high, in my opinion, for what see I'm getting but if you like lo mein, you will enjoy it.They make a great burger. It's really my favorite item there. The meat is juicy and full of flavor, the veggies crisp, and the bread is rightly sized for the good-sized meat patty. But one thing keeps me from buying it. The price is just too high. It bugs my sense of value. I wish they would at least have it on special sometimes because i really miss it.For some reason, none of these are listed in dishes recommended below, so I do recommend you give them a try. I don't think you'll be disappointed. It's clean, the employees are nice, and the owners are very sweet and work very hard.Best part is the food is consistent. Our options are very limited in this area, so I'm glad we have this place. I wish that there are partial stars so I could rate them slightly below 5 due to my disappointment with the price of the burger, but giving them only 4 stars would be unfair considering everything else that stands out“
“I've always heard how good Ralph and Kacoos were and I've wanted to try them for over 20 years, probably more! But, I lived in Houston and it was on the other side of town and never went out of my way to make that drive. Then they opened one in Galveston, but never made that either. Finally got to try this one in Beaumont where the old Steakhouse was. Waking in we were promptly greeted and asked if we wanted a table or booth. We usually always go for the booth, so booth it was! Our server came to the table and was very friendly and outgoing. She got our drink orders and came right back. She then asked about appetizers. So we ordered the Firecracker Shrimp and also the Swamp Bites (fried Alligator nuggets) for our 8 year old. We also tried an order of two each of their four different kinds of grilled oysters. Two were garlic butter and Parmesan, two were topped with a crabmeat mixture, two were oysters Rockefeller, and two were topped with cheese and jalapenos! They were decent with my favorite being the jalapeno cheese! For our dinners our 8 year old had fried shrimp and fries off of the kids menu. My wife decided on the shrimp and grits, I ordered the Delta combo of catfish fillets and oysters. The Firecracker Shrimp were really good, but not a lot of them. Our 8 year old ate the entire appetizer of fried alligator!!! We had to get a side of ranch to dip it in because he didn't care for the Hollandaise sauce that came with it. My wife's Shrimp and grits were just ok, she was a little disappointed that it looked like they just put ettouffee over grits with shrimp! I tasted it and I didn't really care for it because when you've had great Shrimp and Grits you compare everything else to that. My Delta combo had two catfish fillets and 6 oysters with fries, plus two hush puppies. Now in most places you go that have seafood they offer combo platters of try items of your choice at a set price. Here they charge you for the cost of a platter of one item and then add six dollars and change to that. So somewhere else you might pay $22-23 Dollars for a combo platter. Here at R and K's your going to pay around $26-27 dollars for a combo platter that didn't have as much as other places. My catfish was not fresh and was tough around the edges, the oysters were a little overcooked. I also love Tarter Sauce with my seafood. I didn't care for theirs at all. It just didn't have much of a taste to it. So when you're used to eating good seafood when you've grown up around it all your life and you know what it's supposed to be like, you're going to be a little disappointed with seafood here. Now I think of all those years wanting to try R and K's only to find out it wasn't quite what you expected.I didn't mind driving two hours for great seafood. And there are quite a few really Good places two hours from me.“
“It must be Sunday afternoon after church! Absolutely love Ralph and Kacoo's in Lufkin, thankfully they decided to open one here in Beaumont. I wanted chicken fried chicken, baked potato and salad but it wasn't offered on the menu. I got the next best thing, chicken fried chicken sandwich that came with fries and coleslaw! My waitress, Shadow, brought me some gravy to appease my chicken fried chicken hunger, which went great with those hot rolls! As you can see I could not eat all of it and had to take half of it home. They have the best chicken fried Chicken in Jefferson County!“
“I happened to see some reviews on this place that were good so I decided to stop in and I'm glad I did. Super friendly staff and excellent food! I had the salt and pepper shrimp which was great, as well as some crawfish which were tasty as well. I will definitely go back when I'm in the Beaumont area.“
“Everything was fine. It was crowded for a Sunday. The fried ribs were a little tougher than usual. The waitress was nice.Parking: Parking is very tight. Large long trucks make it difficult to pass through to park because they stick out too far.“
