I normally love them & was my go to place today’s dozen of tamales have changed my mind FOREVER mold on the tamales & a bone the size of a gum all which chipped my tooth!! 🤮😷

The food is great and the environment is clean and inviting, though it can be really loud when there are a lot of people. Some meals, like the shrimp quesadillas, may taste like a homemade quesadilla with regular slice cheese and shrimp. The staff is polite and goes out of their way to fulfill requests, such as covering a window to block the sun. Servers keep chips baskets and salsa bowls full. For a large group, they provide a section and can add tables if more people show up. However, service can be inconsistent; one server was slow and did not bring requested items. The restaurant plays Cuban music, which some find odd for a Mexican spot. Specials include $6 pitch of beer on Thursday and Saturday, and a Tuesday night deal for quesadillas and nachos supreme at 7.95 each.
