“Bandos catered our Buckner Auxiliary Spring Brunch today, and I just have to give a shout out to say WOW! The food was absolutely fabulous, plated at the exact appropriate time, and the staff was sensational, which was no surprise… they always are. If you have never experienced Bando’s Catering, you don’t know what you’re missing. On behalf of all of us at Buckner Children & Family Services, as well as our Buckner Auxiliary ladies, THANK YOU Debbie Bando, and thank you to your staff for another amazing meal and experience.“
“One of the best kept secrets in Beaumont. Classy bar, friendly patrons, and the ability to taste test your liquor before you order a drink. Plus, they frequently serve some Zummo sausage at the end of the night. The bar is 30+ but if you treat others with respect, they may wave the age requirement. Not really a happy hour spot, but the kind of bar you put on your dancing shoes and expect an entertaining night out.“
“If you're looking for a quick fix, don't waste your time here! This is only for people who are enjoying the moment with friends and family, knowing that a great meal is on the way! My son and daughter and their children brought me here for a belated birthday dinner. The food wasamazing, a hummus appetizer to start. I had the Caribbean chicken, jasmine rice and mixed vegetables, absolutely off the chain in flavor! Do yourself a favor...“
“Located in a building with many offices, the Current provides lunch from 11 AM to 2 PM for workers in the office and anyone wanting to enjoy some lunch. Current has different menus from salads to sandwiches to poke bowls and teriyaki bowls. I have gotten their chicken sandwich, bang bang shrimp, salad, devilled eggs, and My favorites are their chicken sandwich and the bang bang shrimp. They both come with their special sauce, which is delicious! The chicken sandwich comes with a side of fries. I like the bun they use for the chicken sandwich, which is slightly sweet, and the crispiness of the chicken. Their bang bang shrimp is also crispy and comes on a bed of lettuce and shredded purple cabbage. Their fish was greatly portioned. It comes on top of rice and squash. They also placed some shrimp on top. Overall, I do like they have a variety of different options and their proportions. I think it is a great place of you are trying to satisfy different cravings within a group.“
“I have multiple food allergies that can de nerve wracking trying to eat somewhere new. We were staying at the hotel next to this restaurant, and I was tired from being on the road most of the day. I called over and spoke with a manager to see if they would be able to accommodate my many allergies. And I was presently surprised to find out I would have a variety of options, this is rare for me.So we walked over to the restaurant a few hours later. The manager I spoke to on the phone told me to let my waitress know that I needed to talk to him to order. Well Adriana, the manager, was delighted to help prepare me a meal that I wanted and double and triple checked ingredients to make sure it would be safe.My meal was really yummy and safe! And my partners meal looked and smelled amazing even if I couldn't eat it.We had the fried mozzarella balls to start, and then I had the chicken & shrimp combo with broccoli. My partner had the meatball parmesan sub with fries. My allergies all fall outside the top 9. They are corn, coconut, honey, tomato, onion, mint, ginger, and cinnamon. Our waitress was attentive as well.Dietary restrictions: Very good about handling food allergies.“
“Homestyle meals which is always great. I found the food to lack a little flavor, but it’s hard to find a good home style meal so I’ll be back. Quick service in a casual diner. Nothing fancy but good place to grab a solid lunch. Portion sizes are large . Parking lot is large and we had no wait at 11:20 on a weekday.“
“Great Atmosphere, Great people, Great location, Didn't see any police trap's targeting pedestrians leaving, Music that make you move your hips lol, the 30yr age minimum is a great contribution to the atmosphere & considering being "formally" known by locals as "old school" meshes generation X ('9o's born) like myself smoothly!? I'll definitely be visiting when I'm home. -LT“
