Our all-time favorite Mexican restaurant for so many reasons. Literally the best chips I have ever had at any restaurant ever. Ever. The chips are served warm! The food is fantastic and consistent. Even writing that makes me want to go back! I’m writing this two days after we were there. I would put a pic of my food but I don’t know how! I always order the Cancun Combo. Ten out of Ten—highly recommend!

Macho's Mexican Restaurant is a popular spot in Winnie, known for its huge beef chimichanga plate and flavorful bean burritos with cheese and chili. The spicy salsa has a nice kick, and their cheese queso is a customer favorite and the best. While they don't serve alcohol, the freshly made sweet tea is a great alternative. The food is very good and comes out very quickly. Portion sizes are decent. Many great dishes include the taco salad with beef, chimichanga steak meals packed with seasoned steak, and the delicious sopapillas. The specials are the bomb. Customers find the tasty and fresh food worth it and will continue to visit.
