“We were in Galveston for the weekend and looked online to get some food reviews. All the reviews for Good Dough were amazing and we couldn’t wait to try the food. We were not disappointed. Loved everything we tried. We were there 2 days in a row. Two different workers helped us and both were friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to go back!“

“BEAUTIFUL!!! Que pastel tan hermoso y sabroso que probado! Such a beautiful cake for my moms 51st birthday.They really go above and beyond to give you what you want within budget. The only thing I would say was they accidentally put 51th instead of 51st which was a grammar typo. But really such a beautiful cake my mom and Family loved it and kept asking me where I ordered it.“

“This cafe/bakery has been my favorite place to eat and have a nice drink in Galveston for a few years now. The service is great, the food is always delicious, the drinks are wonderful and the bakery is the best! I love coming to visit Galveston and ALWAYS stop in when we're there!!“

“I never professed to be a culinary expert, but I do know great food when I eat it. And I was fortunate enough to eat a lot of food here at La cocina market. Chef Mary Bass is a renowned chef for good reason. She makes incredible food. She loves her home in Galveston. She brings so much to this great island. The prices are right the food is delicious. It’s right there and easy for you to come and eat. Don’t waste your money on junk food. Spend your hard earned money eating great food.“

“I’m not really a donut person but I’m slightly addicted to the “kolaches” (non-traditional) that these guys make. Get the large kolache here, any flavor, and you won’t be disappointed! Best in town in my opinion. Also, the staff is always really friendly. 😊“
