43 Best Bakeries near La Porte

“stopped in this morning....ordered donuts and one biscuit with meat and two with no meat. when I got home I had the two without meat, but there was also nothing else in them. Is that difficult instructions? I didn't think so.“

“They have the best Kolaches !!! I love the Swiss ham and cheese, bacon and cheese just to name a few!“

“Great place the chicken fried steak is phenomenal the wait staff is attentive and friendly and best of all the food is home made to order such a great hidden treasure in La port Texas“

“I will always stand by going to mom and pop shop type of places. First time going and wow amazing. I swear best croissants. The ham and cheese one is amazing so flaky, buttery, and crunch and ooey
Gooey cheese. Definitely my new donut stop.“

“We live in Deer Park, but I happened to be in the area. Bought a half dozen of kolaches (spicy boudin, sausage cheese, ham Swiss) and a dozen of pastries (cinnamon buns, apple fritters, eclairs, and twists). We’ve enjoyed every thing! Great food and great prices. We’ll be making our way back here for sure.“

“Best cookies ever! Great variety!“

“We found this place for my son who is allergic to dairy. They had so many options for him which is something we are not use to. This place really exceeded my expectations and made a lasting impression on my 4 year old. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about their food. We will be back.“

“So good. Love the take home casseroles“

“What an absolutely perfect little place. Sunshine Kitchen is smack in the middle of the shopping center, I initially thought it was only a bakery but the owner Dara has a full menu from Breakfast to Lunch and everything is divine. I only have pictures of pastries and dessert but it was all delicious. I got the carrot cake, a pecan cobbler bar type of thing and the blueberry scone and omg. I gave the carrot cake to my friend and have regretted it ever since, she loved it and I loved everything I had!! Can’t wait to go back.“

“Best breakfast tacos in town.“

“Everything is absolutely DELICIOUS!!! We drove 2 hours for so many desserts!!! We will definitely be making more trips!!!“

“I ordered 4 dozen cookies for my grandmother's birthday celebration, and the cookies came out great! I ordered via the website for custom made cookies. It took a little back and forth to get everything squared away, yet it all came together in time for my event. The family really liked the cookies; thought they were whimsical and tasted great. The cookies were simple vanilla flavored. I will definitely be using Casebakes again in the future. I didn't realize this company was the little bakery that used to be near the railroad tracks on NASA Pkwy a few years back. Glad they are still in business. Side note: Google will send you to the wrong location via maps. The location is the two story house.“

“Went today with my sister and let me just say, this is actually my 3rd or 4th time there and it is AMAZING every time. The iced oatmeal cookies are beyond delicious! I’m gonna have to go get a dozen! The whole family loves them. The cheesecakes are so delectable as well!!! And don’t get me started on the bagels 😍“

“Ordered a custom birthday cookie cake for my 26th and they absolutely delivered 🎂🥂✨ I asked for a more clean and classy design with the cookie visible in the middle instead of fully iced, and they did a great job bringing the vision to life. The ‘Cheers 26’ theme came out super cute, and the champagne details made it feel celebratory without being overdone. The white border frosting tied everything together nicely. Overall, very happy with how it turned out and excited to celebrate with family and friends. Would definitely order again!“

“We went for breakfast on March 30, 2025, the service was great and the food was even better! My husband had the biscuits and gravy and he said it was the best that he had ever had, that it was even better than his mom’s! If you ever have the chance, please go and check them out, I promise you will not be disappointed!“

“Jenny’s Bakery is the absolute best! I forgot to pick up my Easter order and the owner called me and arranged to meet me in person!!!!! The cookies and cake were delicious, but the customer service is even better. Absolutely amazing! Thank you so much!!!!!“

“First time, and a small place but nice. The person working was very nice and pleasant. Just got home and everything was great. The cake pieces were soft and delicious. Compared to the other bigger bakeries and the cake pieces are hard as a rock and pricey. I definitely recommend this place. Only took one picture of some items.“

“Delicious definitely coming back 😋“

“Gabby was AWESOME and went above and beyond to provide great service. She was patient and so kind. She paid attention to detail and took additional notes to make sure that her delivery driver wouldn’t be late and would also have information needed to get into my community without delay. I highly recommend this awesome Location and the people that provide stellar service there. Thank you!!!! Darcy“

“The Chantilly King Cake was absolutely delicious—light, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. You can tell a lot of care goes into their baking. Customer service was excellent and any concern was resolved quickly and professionally. Highly recommend and will definitely be ordering again!“

“SWA loves Bundt cakes!! This place is great!“

“The birthday cake for my baby was stunning and delicious! It made the day extra special. Thank you for your wonderful creation!“

“There is no doubt that the kolache recipes are absolutely amazing and keep everyone coming back. However the reviews that mention that they don’t warm up the kolaches, or even offer to warm them, are true. This has always been disappointing to me. They got my order wrong this morning, but normally they always get my order correct and have decent coffee. Have a good morning ☀️“

“The wedding cake she made for my daughter’s wedding was not only beautiful and exactly the vision my daughter had in mind, but it was absolutely delicious! We had three different cake flavors in her 4-tiered cake which was fun! We had so many compliments on the cake and requests for her name with people stating it was the best cake they had ever tasted! She was personable, took time to understand her vision, was detailed, and easy to work with! I highly recommend Kim’s Sugar Therapy for your special celebrations!!!🍰💗“

“I traveled here from NC to get my kolache fix and the one s I wanted were not ready ,so I said I would wait til they came out of the oven and while I was waiting they gave me a sausage and cheese kolache and I thought that was so so nice. Their service here was outstanding and of course the kolaches were the best. Thank you guys y’all are great!!!“

“Delicious fresh kolaches with so many filling options it is almost overwhelming. My favorite was the ham and Swiss but you can’t go wrong with the sausage filled one either. Their coffee leaves a lot to be desired but there is a coffee shop next door that we didn’t get a chance to try.“

“First time ordering cupcakes with Tina and they were fabulous!!! They were at a hit at the baby shower!! Thank you again, Tina!!“

“Tasted my first one at my grandsons Birthday party. It was GLORIOUS.....It was so moist, buttery, and melts in your mouth! I ordered a 10" because I was having guests.....they loved it as well....all that was left was crumbs. D. Jones, Houston Artist doris.jones.designs Instag.“

“I tried the cookie butter latte it was phenomenal with cold foam on top. It was perfectly sweet with cookie butter and cream. I also tried the Nutella latte with cold foam and it was not too sweet and well balanced. They have several pastries like kolaches, scones, bagel sandwiches, turkey sandwiches, little empanada looking tacos and other goodies! A very peaceful calm quiet spot to get your laptop out and work.“

“I ordered a mocha Frappe and it was so good and the perfect amount of sweet , and the bacon egg and cheese taco was so good , idk what that other guy was thinking when he said it wasn’t tasty cause his taste buds must be busted , I will Definitely be coming back ❤️❤️❤️ and the starlight iced coffee my friend got was really good too … J Caballero you tripping my dude … 10 stars out of 10 cleaned my plate for sure“

“I’ve been coming here since they opened years ago, off and on. My Dad even shipped kolaches to me in Seattle! I love them all but the ranchero and the cream cheese are my favorites. I had one this morning after a very long hiatus and I was so happy to bite into the hot, soft dough with a slight sweetness to it and then met with the spicy ranchero mixture inside. It tasted the same they always have- delicious! More of a pickup and go than dine in place.“

“great location, I like all the shopping stores there“
