Suggested by many on a Galveston fb group so gave it a try. The place was very busy which felt like a good sign. The wait wasn’t too long to be seated our visit, about 15 min so we chatted out front in the seating for waiting.The restaurant is decorated nicely but just so very noisy, nothing to absorb sound and it got to us after a while.The staff are very friendly and helpful.The food was phenomenal. We spent the weekend in Galveston in the beginning of April after a cruise. We had heard about Katie’s from the fantastic young woman that had checked us in at the Tremont before leaving on our cruise. One of the couples we were cruising with had eaten there before the cruise and said how much they enjoyed it.
