We've visited a couple of bars in Downtown and this is by far the best. Lovely vibe, nice friendly customers, our barlady (Sorry didn't catch her name) looked after us on Monday night, which as a bonus had domestic beers for $1
Really nice little bar off the strand The bartender Abby was very nice and also efficient handling big groups effortlessly. Met 76 year old local Phil and shared drinks and stories and some Bushmills. Joey from Katie's recommended it and it was a good call.

Had a great time here while my ship was visiting. Many great bars in Galveston Texas but this one was quite convenient for foot traffic. Live bands, playful but direct bartenders. Always had a good time does get crowded on a hot Saturday night so it's a line for the bathroom at times. Folks are friendly and respectful definitely no need for security beside the bartenders are like Charlie's angels you might not want to be too rude. Drink prices are reasonable and they have nachos.
