“I have no reservations or hesitation in saying that everything about Remton blew me away and thoroughly impressed me. I have quite a few reviews to write but I put them all on hold to write this one for Remton while the memory is fresh.Let’s start with the ambiance. Remton is beautifully decorated with a vibrant springtime vibe. I can tell a lot of hard work and planning went into the design. The tables, chairs and booths all look very new. The bar looks amazing and is well stocked. Remton gives off a high end aura. The restaurant is so clean and spacious.Next, the service was incredible and matched the high end energy of the restaurant. When I walked in, the manager approached me and offered seating. I asked him a few questions and soon we were discussing various Vietnamese dishes and cuisine. He was very polite and knowledgeable, showing me around the restaurant a bit and recommending some dishes. I was thoroughly impressed with his professionalism and hospitality, as well as his passion for customer service.I was not super hungry, so I ordered smaller dishes to try a variety. First I ordered the Bánh Bột Chiên (Vietnamese Fried Rice Flower Cake). Wow!!! This bánh bột chiên was extraordinary! As I was eating it, the owner Tracy stopped by the table and I let her know that this was a fantastic version of this dish. The rice cake/ egg mixture topped with stir fried radish, pickled carrot, green onion and cilantro was so good. The sweet and sour soy sauce took it to another level! I’ll go ahead and say it now. This is the best bánh bột chiên I’ve had in the Houston area, including Bellaire. This is a recipe straight from southern Vietnam. Compliments to the chef! I will be back for this alone.The crispy tofu was delicious! Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It was hot and covered in the tasty peanut sauce it was a great dish.The Spicy Pork Wontons tasted great! The Custard Buns were delicious. The custard filling was so creamy and not too sweet.The Pinky Promise and House Sangria from the bar were just right and very refreshing. I also ordered a Matcha Espresso Latte drink to go and it was very good with a strong matcha flavor to go along with the espresso.The menu here is vast and incorporates global flavors and cuisines along with authentic Vietnamese recipes. The owner/chef must be well travelled and knowledgeable about various cuisines to have a menu this large and with such high quality.I cannot wait to return with a larger appetite to try the Bún Bò Huế , Bò Kho, Japanese Beef Curry, Chicken Rice Clay Pot and much more.Save me a seat at Remton Vietnamese Cuisine. “Rosewater in Clear Lake is well known for the originality of its fine cocktails and has an excellent, well deserved reputation. The food is also outstanding as management continues to add to the menu. Tonight I ordered a smash-burger and it never fails to deliver. The staff was their pleasant, obliging selves and always seem to want to make you feel welcomed. The expansion of the bar adds needed space & offers a third choice in seating. It seems being accommodating to patrons is Rosewater's over riding theme.“

“My wife and I dined here on a Thursday evening, and were sat somewhat awkwardly across from a group of three women dining together. We were the only people in the restaurant. The experience was --- interesting. As is common with tasting menu restaurants, there was a story to go with each dish presented. Also as common with this sort of thing, some dishes were better than others, and many were just okay. At $150 per person, it was on the expensive side, and I question whether it was worth that. Perhaps $100 would have been appropriate. A wine/cocktail option was offered for something like an additional $125, but everyone declined. We were filled to excess by the food, and found it difficult to imagine having space for drinks on top of that. An interesting experience, but we are unlikely to return at this price point. I think that I have decided that tasting menus just aren't my cup of tea, and I really prefer to go to a place where I can select exactly what I want.“
“Driving by and noticed my name was a resturant and decided to give it a try. Well I can tell you it was more than I expected folks. When we walked in the resturant i felt under dressed and some what out of place until i saw a gentleman iin a pair of jeans. I was greeted by the manager Carlos and a fine gentleman he was. He ask if we had an reservation and I was oh crap, we won't get a chance to try this nice resturant. He was able to get us in and it was great to be in such an clean and organized resturant. Staff was really attentive to all of their customer needs. We were blessed to have Jason as our waiter and he did fabulous gretting and serving us. Tne food was great and the oysters were good also. Not Apalachicola ooysters but they were good with many sauces to try with them. If you want to impress or have a beautiful night / day out with drinks and food and you are in the area stop by Tommy's for a wonderful experience. They will not disappoint you. Bring you wallet or purse, because good food isn't cheap“

“This is my favorite Mexican restaurant around. It's a low profile place. No cartoon mascots, just traditional dishes with good flavor. I love the fish dishes. Can't go wrong with tilapia, tacos or "seafood al vapor." Salsa is good too. They come with chips, of course. Borracho beans are nice and flavorful without being too salty. Beer is by the bottle with a decent Mexican and domestic selection. Margaritas are available too, with happy hour from noon to 6 pm. “I think this is the best place in the Kemah area for mixing music.If you come before 10 PM, it'll be a chill bar or social nights where you can sip and chat with soft music playing, making Saturday nights far from boring. But after 10 PM, when the DJ starts playing and mixing, the place instantly becomes more vibrant. I like it - the dim atmosphere allows for uninhibited dancing. The music, which excites and entertains, ensures we're never bored on a Saturday night. The place has both old and new songs mixed together, so both young adults and the middle-aged can enjoy their time here without getting bored.P.S. This place doesn't have a drink menu, which is odd, but if you're into drinking, just tell them. They can make you anything.“
“Had an amazing steak dinner at Kemah Steak Co. Got the full fine dining steakhouse experience from the bar. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Had the classic ribeye & filet with spinach & mac n cheese and a bottle of wine. All was perfectly cooked. The house the restaurant is in, is from the 1930's. The décor is all local treasures. I can not recommend this place enough.“
