“Awesome little place! Very clean inside & the service was great! This was my first time here with my brother. First, they brought us some of the best Boracho beans that I’ve ever had! And they also brought us homemade chips that are fried their daily and some sauces and little squeeze bottles. You can dip your chips in the Barracho beans and they are so so good! My brother ordered the chimichanga and it was huge! He couldn’t even finish it and he’s a big guy. His chimichanga had shredded beef in it. I ordered the chilaquillas with fajita chicken on them & they were so incredible! I was sad I couldn’t finish them all! The service was top notch & the food was amazing. I will DEFINITELY be back.“

“We recently visited the newly opened Carmelita’s Kitchen in Cypress, and it quickly became a favorite! From the moment we stepped onto the cozy patio, we loved the inviting and charming atmosphere. Inside, the décor is well thought out, creating a warm and welcoming vibe.
Our server, Ana, was incredibly attentive and polite throughout the meal. We started with coffee and a delicious tray of shrimp taquitos — a perfect appetizer. The brunch menu is impressive, and we decided to try the chilaquiles and Baja tacos. Both dishes were beautifully presented and absolutely flavorful. Each bite was a treat — well-prepared without being overdone.
For those who enjoy spicy flavors, their salsas pack a great kick! We can’t wait to return and try more dishes and the cocktails. We highly recommend our Cypress neighbors to check out this little gem — it’s definitely worth a visit!“

“My wife and I ate there this afternoon and the food was excellent, service was prompt and attentive. It is a great family atmosphere with a variety of music playing with a colorful atmosphere. I mentioned to the Manager on the way out that the only thing missing was real Salt and Pepper Shakers. Fast food places use the little packets but a nice place like Rudy’s should IMHO have the real thing. We will come again and have a nice meal and a drink and will look forward to using their new Salt & Pepper Shakers!“
“Loretta is an awesome bartender. She is so nice and attentive. She even gave us coozies for our beers. They don’t serve food but she offered to make us some nachos anyway ?. We came from out of town and we will definitely come back to Houston just to see Loretta!“

“Just recently moved to Houston and was very amazed that it was a drive thru daiquiri shop here. Only place I thought could do this was New Orleans. But the daiquiris are delicious. The young lady inside was very courteous. I definitely will be returning“

“I went with a group of Mexican friends in Jersey Village and we were fascinated, I ate some delicious traditional chilaquiles, everything is delicious, great variety of food, drinks and desserts, it is ideal to go in groups, with friends or family, or with your couple, all the employees are very friendly, bilingual and helpful, nice and beautifully decorated facilities, I will definitely return with my family and my husband. It is really appreciated that they prepare authentic food with a Mexican flavor.“

“We went last Friday for a graduation dinner. It was my first time going to this place and it is family owned. The service was amazing! They made sure everything everything’s was extra special, the food was incredible and if it is your first time like mine I highly recommend the squid ink pasta it was very delicious. I wish to come back soon!“

“Either for lunch or dinner this place is the perfect spot. Food is always cooked fresh, we love the chips and salsas, the beans, the homemade flour tortillas and the margaritas as well. Staff is always friendly. Plenty seating and parking. I recommend it.“

“Absolutely delicious and worth the wait! Wait staff was very kind and attentive. I got the BLT Benedict and my egg was as expected, perfect! If you go in without a reservation I'd say be prepared to wait. I'm definitely coming back!“
