“Tried out the famous Hot Cheetos Boudin Balls and I will say recommend. They are so good you can customize it your way. Do you want it spicy? Or Cheese to the point you will have a cheese pull like no other he got you. Beautiful atmosphere thank you for a wonderful experience.“

With a resume that includes names like Killen's, Bernadine’s, and Stella, Chef Graham Laborde knows how to make some seriously good food.At Winnie's, he has channeled that energy into creating some of the best tasting and most creative sandwiches in Houston. Last week I tried the eggplant and burrata for the first time and it's now my new all-time favorite. Next week it will probably be overtaken by whatever sandwich they come up with next haha.“
“First time in this place yesterday, and I'm sorry I waited so long to check it out. I really like the atmosphere/environment -- it's beautiful inside! Definitely classier than the dive bars that I frequent, so I was shocked when the bartender told me about the $2.50 Karbach special that they were running. I was only in there for one beer and an inning or two of baseball, but during that time the owner managed to come over and introduce himself. Chayn is a very affable and humble man...I wish every success for he and his team and look forward to going back soon!“
“honestly, I have never had the food here, but I hear it’s amazing from nearly everyone. I have only come here one time before, but I enjoyed my time very much. I love the size of the lot and also how it is located outside and I’m pretty sure that this is a bar, but I am not exactly sure on that. this is a lovely little space in Houston. That is also a live music venue so they throw shows from time to time. It is awesome to have a great night out here and spend time with family with their all ages events. as always love from Houston and the universe. “In love with this spot! In town with friends and came here and just died. So well designed and decorated. The pizza and drinks were fantastic, with lots of variety within the menu for different preferences. The service was a bit slow and a few order mistakes were made, but they were slammed so it was totally understandable. Would definitely recommend!“

“Down the street is a neighborhood gem. It's chill and comfortable atmosphere paired with good drinks and good food make it a go to destination. A large pet friendly Patio as well as the indoor area give you a variety of options to sit and enjoy watching a game, catching up with friends, or just enjoying the day. “Oh man I had a great time! I'm not a going out kind of person, so we took a chance and tried it out on karaoke night! Lol it was so much fun and the food was delicious! We had a few appetizers and wow were they tasty! The executive chef Gilbert was very friendly, came out to our table to see how we liked the food! The singers were fun great crowd! I was happy we came! Y'all should definitely come out and don't forget to eat while you're here and Lyft yourself home!“
“Roasted boar with plum sauce, sauteed carrots and broccoli. I would have loved a little more plum sauce. It was so good. And of course to begin: escargot and French onion soup. Oh, and a very fair priced Cotes de Rhone wine. All things French on our 46th anniversary. I should have taken pictures, sorry. We were looking for something French and cuisine we don't prepare at home. BLC did not disappoint. The restaurant has been in business for over 30 years. My only suggestion is to update the interior just a little bit. Keep the Italian feel, maybe darken the ceiling tiles. Don't go contemporary. Just a suggestion. . My wife had the chicken and potatoes in a broth. The 2 bites she allowed me, were succulent, wonderfully flavorful, and definitely something unique to our culinary experiences.We'll be back.Kid-friendliness: I would say noisy kids might degrade the adult atmosphere.“

“I love the pizza. We had the drago, topped with one of their in house hot sauces. There is a full bar with specialty drinks that were out of this world. They also showcase local seasonal beers. The servers are great ,joking and making us laugh the whole time. It was absolutely a wonderful night and we were just having pizza. Who knew pizza could be so awesome.“

“Ladybirds is such a great neighborhood spot and the service is always so friendly. The patio is such a great space for a perfect weather day. We tried bingo and steak night and were not disappointed! The steak is HUGE, seasoned and cooked great. Baked potato and asparagus were yummy as well! I will definitely be back to try more of their food options but drinks are priced well!“
“I’ve been here numerous times for happy hours and they have great specials. I brought my family here when they were visiting in town and they all loved it. They even had a local brewery there that day giving out free drinks to visitors as well which just added to the fun. The food never disappoints and there is always a good view of a TV.“

“I ate here today with a couple of friends. The vibe was nice. Really good music especially for a Thursday. The food was actually better than expected. I got the 2 piece fried chicken and biscuit. Although, they were small, they were worth the price. My friends got the steak and my other friend got the crab cake and linguine and the only thing my friends said was that the baked potato on the side needed to have a little more flavor and the linguine needed a little bit of salt. Otherwise they enjoyed it as well !! The service was good as well, our server checked up on us often. Everyone was friendly.“

“Tried this place for the first time for a movie night. We get there a little early for dinner and hang out a bit. Patio is nice and host took us immediately to our reserved table. Cocktails and food are good, but the food comes in small portions. We were a bit disappointed as the movie had no audio and it does not state that anywhere online. I did not mind as they were playing Jurassic Park and I’m a super huge fan. I pretty much quoted the movie to my friend and we had some laughs. Turned out to be a good night. I liked having smores while I watched the movie. Reminded me when I was a kid“
“They have a good amount of drinks and a nice atmosphere. I thought the food was a bit overpriced and my burger didn't come fully cooked. Our waitress was good and quickly brought another, although it was way too salty. We also got the breakfast sandwich and avocado toast which were good. “It was my first time there. I really liked the location and the vibe. The staff was really welcoming. It was during the week and was a bit slower, just perfect for me. I hear they are the place to be, especially on the weekends. Will definitely be back, plus it's in my old neighborhood. “Really cool spot, love the atmosphere, really creative outdoor seating. The food was excellent, corn tortillas are some of the best I've had. The nachos were piled high and were not light on toppings. The salsas were good, I plan to return and try more of the menu. The photos don't do it justice but the setting was very cozy. “So we were looking for something local and near the neighborhood and we found it!! I couldn’t believe this place had been open for 4+ years and we have been driving past it this whole time!! Kudos to the cook who prepared our food we tried the egg rolls, chilaquiles and quesadilla. Food was tasty warm and delicious. We definitely recommend and will be back to try the wings & other options. Place is an old steel house and you notice it once inside the restaurant!! Their drink menu was limited when we came but that didn’t stop the bartender who made some great cocktails!! Definitely recommend for the taste & value. “I was there on yesterday for a Day Party,and everything was nice from the atmosphere,to the service from my amazing waitress to the Hookah ladies to the Bartender. A nice Grown and sexy atmosphere that didn’t feel overcrowded. “Space cowboy is one of our favorite spots in Houston. Why?They have a gianormous turfed patio (dog friendly) with TV's and swings everywhere so you can catch the best games or play some outdoor games like sand bags or beer pong AND there's a pool connected that you can enjoy on a hot summer day . BUT the best part is their Wednesday steak night which is the best biggest juiciest steak in town.“

“My husband and I LOVE this spot! We just left here a few minutes ago and we always leave with a smile and delicious drinks. The owner is absolutely wonderful. She is so friendly and her vibe is the best. She's always has a smile on her face and her laugh will make you happy just hearing it. She's like one of your best friends you are super excited to see. Not only do I love coming here for a daiquiri but I love being able to see her and talk to her too. The daiquiris here are 10/10! No other spot even comes close to here. “The schnitzel and spaetzle are DELICIOUS here. Consistently good. The owner was also very accommodating also about us bringing a pup we are babysitting out onto the patio on our most recent visit. They have a large outdoor screen which I'm sure will have any major game playing whenever there is one (also not really a sports fan, but I'm positive they will have any major games). I saw a plate of fish and chips being served to a table and am eager to try them.? “I found Velvet Oak Tavern on a Sunday morning while searching Google for a good brunch spot. Upon entering, I was greeted by the bartender who also seated me and took my drink and food order. The restaurant has a nice setup, and I'm sure it's the perfect place to watch sporting events. My order was not exactly what they had on the menu. I added a twist to mine, and I can't exactly remember what myself and the bartender did. However, when it came out, it was phenomenal! I was very impressed! You know it's good when you are dancing in your seat to no music! I loved the outside patio with the view of the street. It's perfect for people watching. I did notice they offered a military discount as I was leaving, which was a letdown, because I didn't know that prior to paying. I also didn't like the automatic gratuity added without knowing. If I'm ever in the area again. I'd stop in again and definitely take advantage of that discount.“
“My family group, 'The Hustlin' Honeys" traveled to Houston from Louisiana, and Kamp was the first thing on our to do list. We had the best time. Our server was very hospitable. The food, drinks, and ambience were excellent! Everyone has agreed that we will Definitely make Kamp one of our go-to spots on our future trips. Kamp Houston is definitely a YES in our book.“
