I am beyond thrilled that after some management hurdles, this place seems to be back! Nice crowd on a Thursday afternoon. Had a drink while waiting for a to-go order. Shout out to Tyler who was the manager on duty. Took the time to fill me in on the direction Bull & Bear is going in. Go have a drink and some food - show them some love!

This place was really awesome only thing it was supposed to be offering karaoke for Friday night and let me down cause I had called multiple times about karaoke for Friday night and no one said they canceled because of the FIFA

Bull and Bear is a favorite bar in Westchase, described as an authentic Irish pub and a gem. The food is delicious, great, and authentic to fare with really good presentation for "bar food." Specific meals mentioned include the Shepherds Pie, which is a must try, as well as cheese curds, potato skins, club, corned beef and cabbage, and lamb shank. They recently brought back the best pizza in Houston on weekends. The drinks are great, with a wide diversity of beers and spirits, and you can get a beer for under $5. The service is great; it is not quick but is complimented with great conversation and a smile. The atmosphere is always great, welcoming, and the vibes are always right. Management really cares about clients. The pub has dart boards, pool tables, trivia, and karaoke. They also show World Cup and NCAA games. An outdoor seating area is available. Bull and Bear treats guests like they are in a home instead of a bar.
