This used to be a dive bar called Shakespeare’s. It’s tucked away in a small strip center behind a Kolache Factory (which used to be a Taco Bell years ago). I love the parking right near the door, the remodel is an open concept with better lighting, the service is great and the prices are decent. They had live music the night I went (a Friday night). Great classic rock band Cover Story plays here on Wednesdays. Food was great! Beef kabobs were very tender and tasty. We also had the Sampler plate with 1 empanada, 2 egg rolls, and 3 dumplings. Hummus was very light and refreshing. Light show in front of stage was fun as was large screen videos behind the band.

Loved Monarch’s vibe. I visited from NYC and my how lovely this establishment presented itself. Music volume, cleanliness, waitstaff, and my carrot cake and sangria were FANTASTIC!! Definitely returning. Thank you for a wonderful time.
