“An absolutely perfect dinner! I usually have the 10 ounce center cut filet mignon which is always cooked to perfection but this trip I decided on the big Glory Bay King salmon, and it was delicious. My dining partner had the Chilean sea bass and cannot stop talking about. Hell good it was. And of course, it must have to accompany these wonderful dishes is the crab fried rice, which is perfect. The Service by Ashley was top notch. She paid attention to detail and was there to check on us several times and made sure our drinks , our water glasses, and anything we needed was full. It was a perfect dinner. “

“Always a pleasure. All drinks are standard doubles for the price of 1. You definitely get you money's worth. However it is getting out dated. A remodel is needed at some point. It used to be small and intimate setting. The vibe is still there but it's more of social spot now. Brig back the speak easy intimate vibe.“

“We really enjoyed our experience at the West Ave Eddie V's. We usually dine at the CityCentre location, but this visit may have given us a new favorite. It's also much closer to our new home, which is a bonus. Atul made sure our dining experience was excellent from start to finish. Esmond (I hope I'm spelling his name correctly) provided top-tier service. He was personable, attentive, and his appetizer recommendations were spot on. The lobster tacos were a generous portion and absolutely delicious, and my spouse really enjoyed the Wagyu dumplings. We'll definitely be back and will be requesting Esmond again. “I made a reservation for the burlesque show and I was NOT disappointed. The entire staff was super kind and happy to answer all of my questions. The food was amazing. The staff was incredibly kind and they were more than happy to laugh and joke with us. The seating was comfortable and perfectly placed to see the show. I will definitely be going back to try out there pool side reservations as well.“

“This was my first time at Azumi, and I will be back! Our server Jordan was amaaazing, attentive, fun, and entertained our shenanigans! The ambiance was great, very chill vibe. We had oysters, gyoza, crispy rice and wings they were all delicious, no notes. We also ordered the Lychee Martini, and sake which were made perfectly! The hostesses were so kind because we could not make up our minds where to sit, they were patient and understanding especially with the Houston weather. Azumi, is a great place“

“We had a beautiful wedding at AvantGarden. My partner and I were looking for aesthetically pleasing and queer friendly wedding venues. When we emailed AvantGarden to see if they are comfortable with LGBT weddings, Mariana swiftly replied, “At AvantGarden, love is love.” We went to tour the venue because it was beautiful online and we could not have been more pleasantly surprised by the fact that they do all inclusive weddings! The florals, cake, food, and DJ were all excellent. Pizza, cocktail hour charcuterie and the taco truck were all big hits with our guests. We’re very thankful to Mariana and her team!“

This Eastside hang out is a must to go to. Chat with the locals and get the feel of old Houston like it used to be!!“

Additional charges are not clearly disclosed, and an 18% service fee is automatically included in the bill, yet customers are still prompted to leave an additional tip. As a result, what appears to be a simple meal with drinks can cost around $40. For individuals on a modest income, this pricing structure feels excessive and unfair. Greater clarity and honesty in billing practices would significantly improve the dining experience.“

The entire staff is very professional, friendly and hardworking. They made sure ❤️ every detail was thoroughly completed. The details was fine tuned...The venue was clean, the beautiful purple designed decor of decoration was breathtaking, the delicious food, the sweet table, speciality 63 shaped cake was so moist and scrumptious, the bartender made special mixture of cocktails and mocktails, the Dj was on point * he played my requested play list of songs 🎵 of Prince and an array of latest selection* the photographer 📸, capturing memorable photos..Everything was outstanding & a fantastic job done. I received great and wonderful quality services which was worth every penny & was well spent. I'll rate 💯 out of 💯!!!

“Pulled up to Swagger for my cousin’s birthday and honestly thought I’d accidentally walked into a hood‑edition speakeasy. Real “hole‑in‑the‑wall with no character” energy. I was not impressed.

But then the music started hitting, the early crowd was my vibe, and suddenly I’m like, “Hold up… this might actually be a good time.”

Then 9 p.m. rolled around, the crowd switched up, and my spirit said, “Yep, time to go.”

Still, my wife and I had a great night. She loves hookah, they let us smoke cigars on the patio, and somehow this little spot won me over. We’ll probably be back — just gotta get there early lol.“

“My favorite restaurant!!! You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. My favorites are to start off with the Bo Bia and do the Bo Luc Lac as my main course. The soups are all delicious too! And can’t go wrong with dessert! Either I highly recommend this restaurant.“

“We were attending a Memorial Service in Houston..Hotel is very convenient to restaurants, I-10, other sites in Houston. Hotel has grocery stores etc. very close. Parking was very easy. Hotel was very easy to navigate. Staff was kind and considerate.“

“I would give it 5 stars, but I ordered the same drink within 15 minutes apart and was charged two different prices for the same drink. The bartender charged me 20.00 for two drinks and the other lady charged 15.00, it was still during happy hour, then my cousin got the same drink 30 minutes later which was the same price as the second bartender. I also tipped each time on top of that. Just pay with cash and ask for prices, do not be ashamed to know what you're paying for. Overall, the vibe is everything and the people love to have a great time, moving forward I will not used that bartender and use cash only. The food in the back pretty good, I didn't like the fish plate, the chicken wings on point. The crackling man crackling is so good. Park on the side street and make sure you get there before 7p.m. to get the whole vibe before 9p.m.. One more thing, DJ stop cutting off the songs in the middle of the hooks, besides that, I love this place.“

“The food here was amazing. My partner and I visited during happy hour and were immediately seated and served. On a beautiful day, I would always choose to sit outside and upstairs!
They are doggy friendly in the outdoor seating on the first floor. Drinks & food was AMAZING!

“It's a great place to relax and have fun and dance and enjoy eating,, with sports Sunday and talent shows with prizes, and karaoke night on Thursday and a great DJ. But the chicken wings are off the chain. Great atmosphere for adults 35 and up. The music is a variety, and just ask for what you want to hear or watch on the TV. I would like a domino table or a card table for more excitement and fun. The owner Tonya Young is very cool and down to earth.“

“I would recommend The Flat for anyone that’s never been there! It’s a fun atmosphere and even has live DJ’s. But I have to say the music is hit or miss. Lately I’ve been going and it’s not very good, it should be house music on House nights. The good thing is that it is open everyday of the week and a great place to chill! We often patronize The Flat, because we do like it, the patio is cool too! I’d say The Flat is definitely a Houston Icon, and you have to check it out! 🤩“

“While waiting for our room to become available at Zaza, my sister and I took advantage of the attached restaurant and had a light lunch. We ordered the same thing and both agreed that the Garlic and Herb Chicken Tartine was lovely. The chicken was perfectly cooked, and the lemon aioli was a spectacular compliment to the arugula on top drizzled with a vinaigrette. There was a choice of salad or fries and we both opted for salads (currently patting ourselves on the back), but I did not love the extra fishy caesar dressing, and my sister was not a big fan of the dill dressing that she requested. The wait staff was perfection. We wanted for nothing but were allowed to enjoy our conversation without being interrupted. An overall wonderful experience.“

There wasn’t any drink specials , we didn’t complain about the prices cause the liquor was authentic and the bartenders were Awesome 👏🏾. The DJ kept us Dancing with new and old school music so overall experience was Great. We will be back , plus they had food. So we didn’t have to leave to grab a bite to eat.
