“Per recommendation of my friend, I chose to make a reservation here for my birthday dinner. It is also Restaurant Weeks, so we ordered off that menu. I got the double breasted chicken and asparagus and mashed potatoes and the truffle Mac and cheese. My friend ordered the filet mignon. Everything but the mac and cheese was amazing. The Mac and cheese was not bad, however, the truffle was overpowering and not something I would eat again. If you can tolerate the power of the truffle then you could order the mac and cheese. Also, for my birthday they gave me a dessert from the Restaurant weeks menu and it was pretty good. The live music was a plus and I definitely will be back to try the regular menu.“

“My wife and I were joined by our best friends for an evening out. We all really enjoyed our first time to visit Mirage38! Service was first rate! Food & drink was wonderful! Ambiance definitely upscale! Enjoyed chatting with Chayn outside the restaurant! Looks like they have a number of special events coming up to enjoy! We live in Brenham but we are looking forward to returning soon! Highly recommend this place for quality food, drink, and great conversation!“

Everyone said, Good(decent pour) drinks, My water was cold and refreshing. And for HTX there was a lot of men here laughing and mingling Usually it's all women everywhere with each other. GREAT MUSIC, people with jobs, very casual. I was told I should return for happy hour & an ice cold martini. Guys like to hang outside and smoke cigars. Bathroom yucky.“

“A beautiful dining experience. Wonderful live music at just the right decibels on a Saturday night. My fiance' had the ahi tuna and requested it to be medium well, and it came out perfectly. I had the sea bass. The fish was perfectly tender and served over a delicious and tender sauteed spinach. No one can go to Eddie V's and be disappointed.“

“We had a beautiful wedding at AvantGarden. My partner and I were looking for aesthetically pleasing and queer friendly wedding venues. When we emailed AvantGarden to see if they are comfortable with LGBT weddings, Mariana swiftly replied, “At AvantGarden, love is love.” We went to tour the venue because it was beautiful online and we could not have been more pleasantly surprised by the fact that they do all inclusive weddings! The florals, cake, food, and DJ were all excellent. Pizza, cocktail hour charcuterie and the taco truck were all big hits with our guests. We’re very thankful to Mariana and her team!“

Additional charges are not clearly disclosed, and an 18% service fee is automatically included in the bill, yet customers are still prompted to leave an additional tip. As a result, what appears to be a simple meal with drinks can cost around $40. For individuals on a modest income, this pricing structure feels excessive and unfair. Greater clarity and honesty in billing practices would significantly improve the dining experience.“

“I visited Liv'n Room for karaoke on a Tuesday night and had a great time! As soon as I walked in, a handsome gentleman handed me a rose. In fact, all of the ladies received roses, which was such a nice touch.

The DJ kept the energy going with all the right songs, and everyone seemed to be having a great time. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, and the bartenders were attentive and kind.

The venue is the perfect size, not so big that it's difficult to move around, but not so small that it feels cramped. It has a cozy, intimate vibe. They also have a patio, and there was a food truck serving delicious steak tacos and hibachi.

Overall, it was a fun night with great music, good food, and an enjoyable crowd. I'll definitely be back!“

“Legacy was great. They host different events in partnership with others. The only drawback on the night I went was there were no wait staff. However, going to the bar was quick & easy. I didn't get the pretty bartenders name, but she made the best Martini lemon drop!“

Our waiter was John, and he recommended great drink options that you can’t go wrong with like the Don Julio Garden. Food was also tasty and the music made the vibe just right. “Pulled up to Swagger for my cousin’s birthday and honestly thought I’d accidentally walked into a hood‑edition speakeasy. Real “hole‑in‑the‑wall with no character” energy. I was not impressed.

Then 9 p.m. rolled around, the crowd switched up, and my spirit said, “Yep, time to go.”

Still, my wife and I had a great night. She loves hookah, they let us smoke cigars on the patio, and somehow this little spot won me over. We’ll probably be back — just gotta get there early lol.“

“Came here for a brunch and to watch a game. I sat at the bar and left this place very surprised and happy. I tried the chilaquiles and they had good seasoning and flavor. I can say the same about my Bloody Mary. And to finish with a nice touch, our bartender was on top of his game and made good mixed drinks. I’m definitely coming back!“

“It's a great place to relax and have fun and dance and enjoy eating,, with sports Sunday and talent shows with prizes, and karaoke night on Thursday and a great DJ. But the chicken wings are off the chain. Great atmosphere for adults 35 and up. The music is a variety, and just ask for what you want to hear or watch on the TV. I would like a domino table or a card table for more excitement and fun. The owner Tonya Young is very cool and down to earth.“

“We were attending a Memorial Service in Houston..Hotel is very convenient to restaurants, I-10, other sites in Houston. Hotel has grocery stores etc. very close. Parking was very easy. Hotel was very easy to navigate. Staff was kind and considerate.“

“I would give it 5 stars, but I ordered the same drink within 15 minutes apart and was charged two different prices for the same drink. The bartender charged me 20.00 for two drinks and the other lady charged 15.00, it was still during happy hour, then my cousin got the same drink 30 minutes later which was the same price as the second bartender. I also tipped each time on top of that. Just pay with cash and ask for prices, do not be ashamed to know what you're paying for. Overall, the vibe is everything and the people love to have a great time, moving forward I will not used that bartender and use cash only. The food in the back pretty good, I didn't like the fish plate, the chicken wings on point. The crackling man crackling is so good. Park on the side street and make sure you get there before 7p.m. to get the whole vibe before 9p.m.. One more thing, DJ stop cutting off the songs in the middle of the hooks, besides that, I love this place.“

“I would recommend The Flat for anyone that’s never been there! It’s a fun atmosphere and even has live DJ’s. But I have to say the music is hit or miss. Lately I’ve been going and it’s not very good, it should be house music on House nights. The good thing is that it is open everyday of the week and a great place to chill! We often patronize The Flat, because we do like it, the patio is cool too! I’d say The Flat is definitely a Houston Icon, and you have to check it out! 🤩“
