“Was at Back Pew this weekend 3/1/25 for a car show. Car show and live music were very nice, but the food vendor (Temo’s Kitchen) was below par. Temo’s Kitchen was a food vendor at the event. Placed an order with the vendor and was told it would take about an hour to prepare. The order took longer than suggested...and the order was wrong. To correct the order would have taken more time. I was hungry. I ended up giving my food away, leaving the event, and getting food elsewhere. Again, the car show and the live music were nice…, but I was highly disappointed with the food vendor, Temo’s Kitchen.“

“We truly can’t say enough great things about The Brass Tap. From the outstanding service and amazing specials to the incredible food, every visit has been a fantastic experience. The management is absolutely top-notch, and it truly shows in every detail.

We recently stopped by for happy hour and had the pleasure of speaking with Blythe for quite some time. We honestly thought he was a manager — but it turns out he’s the owner! What a genuinely kind and down-to-earth person. He took the time to check on everyone, making sure guests were happy and well taken care of. His pride in the restaurant and care for his customers clearly reflect in his staff and the welcoming atmosphere he’s created.

We highly recommend this restaurant in Kingwood for happy hour, family outings, or anytime you’re looking for great food and service. The outdoor seating is wonderful, and they even bring out water if you bring your pet — such a thoughtful touch. This place truly goes above and beyond!

“We have come here several times and it is always a good time. They have a great selection of food and drinks and the staff is really great. We love to come and watch live music by the lake while the kids play on the playground. It is really a good time for the whole family. We have been to a few parties here as well. The folks that run this place are great people and they are absolutely crushing it. We like to bring our out of town friends and family here when they come in for a visit. Highly recommend!“

Still received good service from Ivan but there was another bartender that kept being obnoxious and rude, Geraldo who I have never seen. He was insistent on assisting me even though I told him I was being well attended. He tried to force me to let him assist me in a very rude fashion and with an attitude as big as Texas.“

Was told too come back in 15 - 20 minutes cause there's only the gentleman working and he's backed up with orders. Went back in 30 minutes and he still wouldn't take our order due to being by himself taking and fulfilling orders. The food is awesome, but you will lose customers due to the customer service rendered.“
