Rhonda, the catering manager, worked closely with me on planning the menu and provided options to help us stay within our budget. She paid special attention to what I was looking for regarding the overall dining experience I wanted for our nearly 250 guests at the Nathaniel center. She asked for the banquet agenda and specifics on when, what and how we wanted the food service to be carried out throughout the course of the evening. She said to me during our planning, “We want to handle everything for you, so you can be guest at your own party.” And she and the staff did exactly that! Everything happened exactly on cue, with me not having to even think about it! It was just as she promised, and I was able to relax and enjoy the evening without a single worry! The staff was attentive and friendly to everyone and truly cared about making it a perfect dining experience for every single guest. They looked genuine happy to be there with us for this special night. The food was excellent and everything was hot and ready to serve exactly on time. I 100% recommend Amedeo’s catering. You will not be disappointed!“

“Hot Rod Tour of Texas made a 2025 stop there with lots of Hot Rods and participants. Elizabeth coordinated everything and wow what a blast it was. we brought in our traveling band with us who setup on the outdoor stage while In Wheel Time setup inside and help a live podcast of the event. Great drinks and venue is really cool..“

He was friendly and had an outgoing personality, I have been waited by other waiters at this location that were much slower (on a slow day) and took an act of Congress to wait or bring you anything. If you go ask for Jesus Flores (the other Jesus is not as friendly)“

“Was at Back Pew this weekend 3/1/25 for a car show. Car show and live music were very nice, but the food vendor (Temo’s Kitchen) was below par. Temo’s Kitchen was a food vendor at the event. Placed an order with the vendor and was told it would take about an hour to prepare. The order took longer than suggested...and the order was wrong. To correct the order would have taken more time. I was hungry. I ended up giving my food away, leaving the event, and getting food elsewhere. Again, the car show and the live music were nice…, but I was highly disappointed with the food vendor, Temo’s Kitchen.“

“Just had lunch with my neighbor Jorge and as usual was NOT disappointed! Chris was her usual friendly self. She’s always on the ball about pleasing people and sending them home happy and full. Rose was the waitress everyone dreams of. Patient and funny all in the same breath. If you haven’t been to LaVilla I highly recommend a visit. You will want to return again and again! “We have come here several times and it is always a good time. They have a great selection of food and drinks and the staff is really great. We love to come and watch live music by the lake while the kids play on the playground. It is really a good time for the whole family. We have been to a few parties here as well. The folks that run this place are great people and they are absolutely crushing it. We like to bring our out of town friends and family here when they come in for a visit. Highly recommend!“

Quesadillas with Fajita Beef: Very good. I ordered beef so I expected ground beef like in most restaurants but the fajita beef was even better. 9.2/10

Burrito with Fajita Beef: Also very good. It is a very thick burrito filled with goodies. It is not spicy and does not have sauce. 9.5/10“
