“This is a working man's restaurant where one is literally shoulder to shoulder on stools in a building that resembles a boat. The food is magnificent. The oysters on the half shell are spectacular as are the shrimp dishes and the gumbo. Try the catfish dinner. It's the best I've had West of Louisiana.“

Rose was the waitress everyone dreams of. Patient and funny all in the same breath. If you haven’t been to LaVilla I highly recommend a visit. You will want to return again and again! I’d be there more often but I have no self control. 🤣“

“We have come here several times and it is always a good time. They have a great selection of food and drinks and the staff is really great. We love to come and watch live music by the lake while the kids play on the playground. It is really a good time for the whole family. We have been to a few parties here as well. The folks that run this place are great people and they are absolutely crushing it. We like to bring our out of town friends and family here when they come in for a visit. Highly recommend!“

“We went for the first time today and I have got to say this is probably the BEST experience eating out that we have had. Kaleb was just awesome and joked with us and sure we had everything we needed. Terry was also very awesome and welcoming, and took time to chat with us. “I came here specifically for the dumplings and their signature fruit infused teas and I got to tell you after an hour and a half of stuffing my fat face. They did not disappoint ladies and gentlemen. They start off by bringing you a pitcher of lemon water and the holy trifecta which consists of soy sauce Chinese black vinegar and I'm talking about some legit chili oil 🪔 that you mix to your liking. Now I like my dipping sauce a little sweeter and since I'm not a complete barbaric animal by asking for sugar I asked for a little sweet and sour sauce and mixed in with my Trifecta blend. But that's just my preference. All the dumplings I tried were amazing and rightfully so. They have two sweet older Asian but intimidating looking women that are constantly filling and wrapping all types of dumplings. I have to admit the proficiency and ninja like skills with a knife of these two ladies was awe-inspiring.
Although my absolute favorite ones though were the shrimp and pork pan-fried dumplings. Because hello you had me at fried. They had the perfect combination of steamed on one side and fried to Golden perfection on the other. Oh and they definitely a 2 bite dumplings with copious amounts of filling. I will definitely be coming back eager to try the rest of their menu.“

Let me just say Jasmine is such a great person! She was always smiling, checking on us constantly and even gave a chopstick device to help him use the chopsticks better lol. She was attentive, kind, and helpful. She talked to us for a bit after we had finished our meal and she is truly a gem of a person. We really enjoyed everything here and if we are ever back in the area we will definitely be back here!“

“Yes I recommend Chachi’s for their food but they suck as owners! I found out that they CHARGE their waitstaff for credit card tips that they receive! TIP YOUR WAITSTAFF IN CASH! The owner’s pay waitstaff $2.13 an hour then charge them a percent their credit card tips that they hustled for? I think NOT! just because the owners are cheap or just up your prices by at the max $1.00 so you can cover what the credit card companies charge you so your waitstaff who work for slave wages aren’t dunned for your lack of knowledge. SO TIP YOUR WAITSTAFF CASH! Make the owners pay the fee’s!“
