We shared a double large protein bowl and it was more than enough for both of us, with plenty left over. “My wife and I are full time travelers, and on moving day, after setting up our new camp, we're usually too tired to make dinner and have made sort of a tradition in getting Chinese food on those days. We arrived in Anahuac, and I did a search for Chinese food near me, and read the reviews for the few places nearby. We chose this one, and were very happy we did. The lady behind the counter was very nice, and we placed our order (eat-in, which we normally don't do). We both got unsweetened ice tea, which was good and strong the way we like it. For appetizers we ordered spring rolls and pork egg rolls, both of which came out piping hot and delicious. For dinner I ordered the combination lo mein, and she got General Tso's chicken, and both were very fresh, and again, delicious. We had enough to take home for lunch too. I would definitely recommend this place for very good Chinese food.“

“The food was delicious, I ordered the lobster ravioli and the steak rosemary ravioli as well. The quality of the food was amazing. But for $16 dollars I only was given 3 ravioli and a lot of sauce. That's not what I was expecting. I can go to Magiano's Little Italy and get more food for my $ Dollar with the same great taste. If I can suggest, if you're going to charge so much. At least give the people more than just 3 ravioli for $15 a plate.“

“So me and my husband chose Cheddar's today for our lunch date. We had a great time and the food was pretty decent. However our server was a bit overwhelmed I think. We didn't get a bowl for ketchup, asked for extra napkins and never received those. My husband didn't get his bacon for his baked potato, but the time the waitress remembered he was almost done with his meal. When I mentioned my raspberry sweet tea was too sweet, and I'd like an unsweetened tea with lemon, that never came. I kept receiving unsweetened raspberry tea. However I had asked twice and wasn't going to ask a third time. We had quite a few wait times in between asking for things. I also got a to-go order which didn't take long. We may return to this location but I'm sure at this time.“

“The food is amazing! Service can be good, depending on who is your server. The atmosphere is fine. Just wish they'd take the table that is right in front of the door away! That table keeps folding people as they are trying to walk out the door. Unfortunately I have been one of these people. Depending how tall you are. You'll hit at hip or tight level eather way you get a big sideways bruse and pain to go with it!! If staff see it happen they might act concerned... but they are not. If they were they'd move the table of doom. But other than that most definitely recommend this place!!“

“This is a shout out to AJ at the corporate office for taking care of me today. Our family has been eating at El Toro for many years. We love their food and service. Today I called about some confusion on points earned with their new rewards system. I just knew I was owed more points. I had a call back from AJ at the corporate office on a Saturday when he wasn't at work just to help me out. Turns out I misunderstood the points due to having earned a reward and the system not showing all the transactions. Not only was he extremely patient and kind and figured out what was going on, he still gave me extra points for my trouble. That is excellent customer service.“

On the outside, it maybe cosidered a typical hole-in-wall asthetically, but every dish tastes like it came straight from someone’s home kitchen. Their burritos, (especially the grande version) is single-handedly one of the biggest you can get & I personally promise it will fill you up unless you're just simply a glutton for punishment! You can tell they use quality ingredients and take pride in every plate they serve. In addition, the fajita beef, chicken & sausage portions are extremely generous & you'll most definetly get your money's worth.

Beyond the food, the service is warm and genuine. In conclusion, this is my personal go to spot if you’re looking for real Mexican food in Baytown — not the chain-restaurant kind, but the real deal — Guarapollo is the place to go. A must-try for anyone who loves great food and even better people!“
