“Ive been coming here for many years. Its little piece of neighborhood flavor. American fare with exorbitant portions and family friendly pricing. The steam table lunch/dinner options are just good old American choices like grandma used to make. From meatloaf to liver and onions with two sides(many daily choices of entree and sides) that will having you take home leftovers as your next big meal. I highly recommend for the ambiance, the staff and the family friendly pricing. This place has been here as long as I can remember(since 1952). “We order from here a lot and we love the food! However, the last few times we have ordered from here they have forgot something from our order! One time it was the fries, one time it was the onion rings and this time it was our drinks! I’m all for giving second chances but, when you order delivery and they forget to put drinks in your order and tell you to come and get it! I don’t think that is the right response to make it right! So, I called to ask about our drinks and she said she would talk to the manager and call us back! Have not heard anything! Trying to support local but sometimes it can be hard! “It's a smaller but cozy place. The atmosphere has a pretty cool vibe, seating accommodations included booths and a long shared table option. We indulged in the Ramen with pork and shrimp, came in a large bowl/portion and the pork broth was very good. The service was excellent, our server was very attentive and friendly. “I highly recommend this Café. I ordered to go as I’m leaving state after breakfast, but the girl that helped me carry my drinks out was super sweet. Not being from Texas I was curious about everything on the land and she was very informative (I should’ve gotten her name). I ordered the Sycamore 2s which was 2 pancakes (choice of 1/2 waffle or 2 slices French toast), 2 eggs, and 2 pieces of bacon (choice of sausage also). I got my son an order of French toast, and a friend the brunch burger. Everything was AMAZING. The server mentioned Mondays they have a mimosa special (she told me exactly but I forget it). I like over medium eggs and this is the first place I’ve been that’s gotten my eggs PERFECT the first time around. It’s an adorable little café and there’s a wedding venue in the back. I highly recommend trying their food if you haven’t before. I took photos but it won’t let me add them to my review.“
