“I ordered the Enchilada plate and it was delicious. The service was excellent and welcoming! El Tejano Mexican Restaurant has a great vibe and excellent food. I will be a regular customer from now on. If you want authentic Mexican food of great quantity and quality, I highly recommend this establishment!!“
“This restaurant has been around since I was a kid and is family owned by some of the nicest people that you will ever meet. Just to start, the carnitas are amazing. The food here is definitely going to bring you back, and the price is right.“

“Everything in this place is SO GOOD!!And they have it ALL!! Just be sure you know a little Espanol or can translate some what to let them know what you're wanting (little joke y'all I promise) ? They are so kind and sweet and a couple of them know a little English as I do Spanish. This place used to see me EVERY DAY when I lived in that area back then. I STILL go even though I live pretty far from it now. It's just that good! You won't know till you go!Haley “
“I'm visiting from CA so I was in Need of some great tasting authentic tacos. Looking up the star rating this place came up pretty high and I'll have to say they Do live up to it ! ! ! Great tasting Asada tacos. The staff were polite and very helpful to explain the menu. However the Downside was that you can't mix & match your taco meat on a 3 taco combination plate. The atmosphere is calm but, it is loud because of the exhaust fans which is understandable . The place was nice and fresh though. That's a plus with this Texas humidity outside. Overall I Would highly recommended this little gem“
“There menu is huge so many choices you won't know what to get. The quesadillas were awesome. The huarache was good too. But the sopa de mariscos was a little bland and only had a big piece of fish, shrimp, carrots, and lots of potatoes. The agua de piña was phenomenal as was the cafe de olla. And the best part they have truck parking. Absolutely love this place. Will definitely be back.“
“Best Birria tacos I've had. Reasonably priced. 4 Birria tacos with consume & salsa for $13. Their salsa Verde is amazing. You can call in an order for faster service. Inside seating is less than 20. I can't wait to try more of their food. Very friendly staff. Bilingual.Parking: Small shopping center“
“Everything was good except the A.C. was barely working, the restrooms were out of order, and they had like a little mess in one corner of the restaurant (sort of like a mini storage; which made the restaurant look dirty and messy). I did enjoy the food ? and the great customer service though.“
“First time in this place, my experience was delicious. It is a taqueria run by its owners, Mrs. Juanita and Mr. Hector. I know their names because I asked the lady her name because she herself served us. They made us feel very comfortable explaining the dishes and breakfasts. that they served, we ordered some red chilaquiles with fried eggs and some ranchero eggs. They give you the option between refried or black beans. The dishes came accompanied with 4 handmade corn tortillas. The only recommendation I would make to the owners would be to set the prices of We paid $33 for the dishes for 2 breakfasts, 2 canned cokes and a coffee. We didn't know the prices. The place is very clean. The food is excellent. The service is 100% good. I really recommend that you come and try the homemade food they serve here. I will return. try the ribs, they looked very delicious ?“
