“Hands down my favorite food truck! The food is always amazing and the service is fantastic!! I really enjoy the interactions with the family and they love my dog too! I always recommend them to everyone looking for good tacos or a delicious torta!Parking: The food truck is in a parking lot. You can park right in front of the truck with no worries. Parking is not a concern at all.“
“My rating is slightly more than just four stars because of the good flavor of the food.I had carnitas and asked for pork skin to be added. The server piled on the pork skin so it seemed that I had more of the skin than actual meat. The taste however, was good on both.I also ordered menudo and asked for corn (hominy) to be added. The server piled on the corn so it seemed that half of the container was corn and not menudo. Once again, the taste was very good. I will say that it did have a little too much grease on the top of the soup though.I think the flavors are there but what I received based on the above, could have given me a better overall experience. I went there for carnitas and menudo which should have been what I received the most of and not the sides (pork skin and hominy).Fix the ratios of what is served and this would definitely be a five star location!“
“Allie was very attentive. She was checking on us every 5 minutes. She was very sweet. The only problem I had is when we first got here there were plenty of tables outside and we told them we want to eat out there. The gentleman who seated us said he didn't think that was possible. I of course ask why. He said Quote I don't know .? all in all Allie made everything alright.“
“Should you give a breakfast place 5 stars? Why yes you should... it it's the Ranchito in Pasadena. This place is pretty fantastic. We came on a late Saturday morning and the restaurant was hopping. We got the last parking space but only had to wait a few minutes in line for a table. Although the restaurant is extremely busy, (and loud) the turnaround is quick. We had B6 (chorizo and eggs with barbacoa) and B9 (bacon and eggs with marinated pork). Both were huge servings and both were delicious. The servers are friendly and don’t stop moving! We will be back (probably next weekend).“

“It is indeed a hidden gem.I got the chilaquiles rojos with Guisado de Pollo. It had a great taste, spicy indeed. My only complaining was that it is only Chilaquiles and beans, anything extra it’s more.The Machacado was also delicious. Would have been nice if there were more sides included, as well for the tortilla to be homemade.The desserts looked delicious! We did end up getting 2 bread, it was good. Tasted like any bread at the bakery.Would definitely come back to try other stuff.“
“Love everything about them! The food quality is always fresh and love their customer service. I usually get there late before they close on my way home. I make it a point to go at least twice a week. I have been to many taco trucks but this one is on top! Thank you!!“
“Not only are these wonderful breakfast tacos but the owner and staff were amazing! I purchased 15 tacos and they worked together to get them to me fast! They were hot, delicious, and over stuffed. “Visited Houston for the weekend and this place is definitely a hidden gem! Couldn’t find a restaurant open past 9/10, in Deer Park, that wasn’t generic fast food. And we were in the mood for tacos.The restaurants location was next to a tollway and a drinks to go shop (drive through). Quite a few parking spots and a little area to eat. Food smelt heavenly. Me and my family each got something different to try. They had a variety of menu options, both pamphlet form and largely displayed on the wall with prices and pictures.The cashier was so kind and patient. She took our orders and name, repeated everything back and even answered any questions we had. They take cash or card. Food was hot and fresh; it even survived a 30 minute car ride back to the hotel and it was still warm! They give a generous amount of food and at a good price.The meats are tender and juicy. The consomes are so delicious, it’s drinkable! The meals we bought satisfied every craving we had. Salty, spicy, good levels of heat. This food will put you to sleep!10/10 we visited the place again! Went another night past 11pm and the food was still beautiful in quality and presentation; hot and fresh!“
“I order from here quite a bit. I came here for my birthday with friends. The service is excellent along with the food. The tres leches cake was delicious along with the Mole Poblano. I like it here because the its not overly loud and you can easily carry a conversation with your group.“
“We had tried the chicken at two other Rey del Pollo locations (Lawndale and Alameda Genoa) and they were good. This location has the BEST chicken out of the three locations. The chicken pieces were large and cooked to perfection. The meat was juicier than the chicken at La Silla which tends to be dry. The red sauce had a hint of chipotle that went real well with the chicken seasoning. We were impressed and will definitely be going back.“

“This place is small but with an amazing atmosphere. The food is amazing. Add salt to your liking. The tacos are huge and stuffed full. I will highly recommend the menudo, especially if you have a stuffy noise ? believe me, you will walk out breathing perfectly fine. You order first, then you sit down and pay after you're done eating.“

“20 Degrees outside today and every restaurant was closed except this place. Thought I'd give it a try as I've never been here before. It was very good and everything was on point. I got the huevos rancheros with three eggs, beans, potatoes, bacon, and it came with Pancakes. Also got coffee. It was only $10! I think it was too cheap but very good. They need to go up on their prices as I know they have bills to pay. Left her a $10 tip on top of the ticket.I had to drive to the other end of town to find a restaurant that was open and this is the only one I can find because of freezing weather. Everybody was closed, but they were on duty and Cooks were ready to give you a good meal. I'll be back to enjoy the wonderful food.“
“Taqueria Monterrey is a great place to have Mexican Breakfast. From Huevos Divorciados to Desayuno Campeon, you can't go wrong here. Service is kind and prompt. “I ate here twice for lunch last week. Our servers were attentive and the food was good. I would say the only complaint was the frijoles a la charra came out lukewarm so we sent it back to get a hot bowl. Otherwise we enjoyed our experiences.“
“It was our 1st time going. My husband and I were celebrating a late Valentine's Day dinner. The fajitas were delicious, soft, and not over seasoned. The rice, beans, and tortillas were perfect! It is authinticlly and feeshly made along with there fresh batch of chips and there chilli is deserving of a 5 stars. Not to often you find a good restraunt that makes fresh chips along with there food that can take you way back in memory of your mothers cooking when you got right her.Parking: You can park across the way at the church just dont for get to donate your gratitute to the Lord Jesus Christ and Vigin De Guadelupe. “Good place with a delicious menu!Although very not crowded on a Saturday afternoon....Their prices are very fair and according to the size of what you receive...(in other places they give you less for the same price)The only thing I didn't like is that the menu is placed at floor level, I suppose for children, but I think if it were up on the wall it would be better, the menu images are somewhat small and lack more quality and resolution.. ....they could be better and bigger.And also having only 3 tables to eat inside is not enough and I think it scares away many clientele since groups of friends or large families would give up going due to lack of seats and tables.100% recommended!“

The atmosphere could use some touches, but its clean and comfy for a Local place. Is there better Tex Mex places, yes BUT not for the price and distance I want to travel for a causal dinner on weekday. I should add, we eat here almost weekly... I wish that I could pick both options on Dine In and Take out.. bx I use both... I have gotten Parties Trays twice from there for 100 ppl for an annual party... every year, everyone loves it.. and it's completely gone to the put where the pans are scraped clean!Parking: Huge parking lot but does share with other restaurantsKid-friendliness: Laid back environment.
