“Was at Back Pew this weekend 3/1/25 for a car show. Car show and live music were very nice, but the food vendor (Temo’s Kitchen) was below par. Temo’s Kitchen was a food vendor at the event. Placed an order with the vendor and was told it would take about an hour to prepare. The order took longer than suggested...and the order was wrong. To correct the order would have taken more time. I was hungry. I ended up giving my food away, leaving the event, and getting food elsewhere. Again, the car show and the live music were nice…, but I was highly disappointed with the food vendor, Temo’s Kitchen.“

“Undoubtedly what is the best restaurant / bar that we have and Huffman doesn't have a shortage of bar restaurants but it takes the cake the bartenders are beautiful they are very well-mannered well-spoken and take very good care of you the entire time you're there they have great crawfish on Sundays and they have karaoke once a week they have inside and outside seating and early from open to 8:30 or 9:00 p.m. it is a kid-friendly establishment so you can take your family out to eat and feel like you got a great deal a great meal and it has the feel of an all American down home honky tonk but also a great place to spend the afternoon with family and friends and a great bar to enjoy the company of some genuinely great people“

We recently stopped by for happy hour and had the pleasure of speaking with Blythe for quite some time. We honestly thought he was a manager — but it turns out he’s the owner! What a genuinely kind and down-to-earth person. He took the time to check on everyone, making sure guests were happy and well taken care of. His pride in the restaurant and care for his customers clearly reflect in his staff and the welcoming atmosphere he’s created.

We highly recommend this restaurant in Kingwood for happy hour, family outings, or anytime you’re looking for great food and service. The outdoor seating is wonderful, and they even bring out water if you bring your pet — such a thoughtful touch. This place truly goes above and beyond!

“I always get great service when i come here and the blue eyed young lady is behind the counter she’s attentive she’s patient and a great worker she stays busy always finding something to do and always welcoming the food is great the meat is always tender when it comes to the chicken but i notice they be skimping on the meat portion at this location but always satisfied with the taste“

“We have come here several times and it is always a good time. They have a great selection of food and drinks and the staff is really great. We love to come and watch live music by the lake while the kids play on the playground. It is really a good time for the whole family. We have been to a few parties here as well. The folks that run this place are great people and they are absolutely crushing it. We like to bring our out of town friends and family here when they come in for a visit. Highly recommend!“

“I have been to this restaurant twice so far, and it is so yummy! My family and I have gone both times after church on two different Sundays. Each time, I ordered the shredded chicken nachos, and they were incredible!! I would say that these could definitely feed two people with a light appetite. The first time we went was the weekend after they opened, and it was a little longer service times, as one would expect for a new restaurant. We all liked the food so much that we went again, and I could tell a huge increase in the time it took to get our food, and the overall comfort that the staff were experiencing! Still received good service from Ivan but there was another bartender that kept being obnoxious and rude, Geraldo who I have never seen. He was insistent on assisting me even though I told him I was being well attended. He tried to force me to let him assist me in a very rude fashion and with an attitude as big as Texas.“

We were charged an automatic gratuity of 25%. I get it but it was a first for me from this location. Not sure if I'll be returning as it was right at $200 to eat out.“
