“Totally Awesome 👍😎 custom craft brewery, right in Jersey Village, conveniently located @ Beltway 8 & Hwy 290, just off the Senate Avenue exit from Hwy 290. I know the owner, who started with nothing but a fierce determination and die hard ambition to become one of the best Brewmiesters/Brewmasters in the world. Well, he has done it! Senate Avenue Brewery has some of the best craft blends and recipes I've ever tasted. They've won repetitive awards and medals, but the place is, simultaneously, the most family friendly brewery we've ever been to. The food, and weekly events like Wednesday trivia nigh, Chicken Fried Steak, double points, Mondays, Tuesday Run and biking club night, Thursday steak night, and Fish Fry Fridays, are simply stellar. We Love the Mayor's Burger, Fish Fry Fridays, Thursday Night Steak Night, cheese curds, with ranch and marinara, pizzas, churros, Addie's Sundae, and the other fine cuisine as well. Ample indoor, as well as outdoor, seating with area for kids to play. Wonderful big screen, indoor as well as outdoor, sports screens with: football 🏈; basketball 🏀; baseball ⚾; ice hockey 🏒 💪; soccer⚽; and many other sports shown as well. Andy, the owner and founder, Glenn, the manager, and all the hard working, amicable, staff are all super approachable, and will do whatever they can to make your dinning and craft beer experience as happy 😊 😁🎉 as possible. “We had our Team27HTX post-race party at Wakefield Crowbar this past Sunday (January 11), and it was such a great experience. They generously hosted our group, gave us the kids’ play area and a court to use, and provided plenty of space for a large, family-friendly crowd. There were tons of drink options, the food was easy and delicious for adults and kids, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. They also donated 20% of the proceeds from our group to the Heaven’s 27 Foundation, which was incredibly meaningful to us. Huge thanks to Dawn, Omid, and all of Wakefield Crowbar for their generosity and hospitality. Highly recommend for group events!“

“I was not expecting a spot like this in my neighborhood & its not a bad spot. I seen a spot similar that used to exist on Airline in which this spot has various local beers that one cannot find in many of the local sports bars & maybe on a rare occasion you can find a brand of local brews that is over at the upscale restaurants. From what I seen in their drink menu especially for the beers, there is variety not just in tastes but also where they come from not just in Houston, but other locations outside of Houston & even local brews that are not here in Texas

I went there once when they had a Steak night which occurs on a Thursday but also despite being not the biggest spot it can get packed but still good enough to move around, & if one plans to get food. Its mostly set up on the outside since the area does not have enough space for a kitchen

Also it helps the location has good enough parking to find though it can get packed so my best advice. Get there early to enjoy Cobble & Spoke plus this spot does not just have beers, if your into wine or other drinks outside of beer. Its a go to“

“Delicious!! I ordered the chicken KBBQ bowl and my wife ordered the jumbo shrimp bowl. My wife’s hunger was satisfied. I feared for my life when she’s “hangry”. She even commented that she be satisfied even without the proteins. This place is very clean. The people are friendly.“
