Cashiers could provide better customer service if they served with kindness and warmth. In their tone of voice and body language it is clear that they do not do their job with pleasure. Greeting to make the customer feel welcome and saying goodbye wishing them a good day is essential when working directly in customer service. Perhaps better training for your staff would help them do a better job.
