“This is my first time visiting Yellowtail, but it won't be my last. I enjoyed the quaint space, kind patrons, and great service from the chef and waitstaff. I enjoyed my Gyoza, super shaggy roll, and crunchy chicken roll. I'm more of a cooked meats person and everything was perfection. I will be back! The prices were reasonable for the fresh, quality ingredients you get.“
“The food is really, really, really delicious..... Everything my wife and I have ordered has been hot and fresh.... My wife loves the ramen here, she's had both the Miso and Tonkatsu pork ramen and loves them both... Me on the other hand, love my special sushi rolls, and here my favorites are the Angry Dragon roll, Yummy roll, and Chameleon roll, the Angry Dragon has a really good kick to it... The spring rolls are delicious, the egg drop soup was good, the house salad was great, and the karaage chicken was hot and fresh.... Definitely found another great Japanese dish spot to eat at... This place is great, almost anything you try here will be great.“

“Came here for a late lunch. The place was not crowded at all. Sufficient parking around the restaurant. We were seated quickly.We tried the Curry Chicken and Spicy Cream Vegan ramens, as well as chicken fried rice. The chicken bun and vegan bun were quite good. Really liked the sauces used in the buns. Spicy cream vegan was very good. I'm usually a meat-eating person so I was skeptical. Surprisingly good.Mango Yogurt - not what we expected. From the name, you'd imagine that it has yogurt in it. Something similar to Mango Lassi in Indian restaurants. It was just juice... ??Service - This is where I had a gripe. I get it that employees attend tables and they can get tired. So if they're sitting down at the table and taking a break, of course that's fine; not at all an issue. But when they're all at a table, ALL of them on their phones, and not paying attention to the tables - that's just sloppiness. They really need to pay more attention to the tables and at least take turns in taking breaks.“
“Beautiful sushi & ramen place!!! From the outside I didn't know what I was expecting walking in but the restaurant atmosphere is beautiful and relaxing as soon as you walk in. This restaurant would make for a chic date night or also a great place for a business lunch. The bento box selection looked great & so many yummy rolls I want to come back & try. I settled on the 2 roll lunch combo which was more than filling & included soup. If you love sushi & want a lovely place to eat it, you must stop by and try this place.“
“First time at this place for lunch and absolutely loved it!! From the moment we walked in, we were greated and the gentleman at the register who took our order was so friendly and helped with my ordering as well since it was new to me. The food was out fairly quick especially it being that they were busy (lunch hour) and food was delicious. I definitely recommend & will be returning!“
“This is honestly one of my top ramen places that I've tried in Houston. I had heard that the ramen here is very authentic, so I had to try it out for myself. I came here on a week night for dinner, and unfortunately, they were a bit understaffed. There appeared to be only one server for all of the tables, so it did take a while for him to take our order. I'm writing this review a few months later from when I tried this restaurant, so I hope that has changed now. He was very friendly though. I tried the tonkotsu gachi ramen. It was VERY delicious and flavorful. It didn't feel overly heavy like some other ramen places that I've tried. I can say that this does taste pretty authentic. I like the location of this place too because I live around here, and it's easy access for people around the medical center to go to. I hope this place stays here for a while! I would absolutely come back.“
“After spending hours in NRG watching rodeo, we were so hungry and found a nearby restaurant named Taro. It was really great to have meal there, including sushi and drink. We enjoyed the ramen and all you can eat. The old guy waiter was very nice and humorous. I liked him. Very good service.“

“Yesterday my friends and I came here after a long day of shopping. We were told to seat ourselves then our server followed us to our seats and handed us menus. Our server, a young lady was pretty attentive and helpful when we told her it was our first time here. We ordered 3 ramen bowls and some sushi which all tasted great because i love Japanese food.“
“The Xiao Long Bao is so good and is full of amazing, hot soup. This is what we always come for specifically, and it never ceases to satisfy! We also asked for Kung Pao tofu the last time we came in. The tofu was crispy and the spice was perfectly tangy and hot. We get this with the homemade noodles and it is enough to feed at least four people.
