“Traveling from Midland, TX on business and my go to choice "Black Rifle" was a pretty good shot out of my way but 1820 was a nice alternative. Also I love supporting local businesses and not big chains owned by people with no soul like Starbucks etc. Great coffee and a nice relaxing atmosphere. I highly recommend if you are in the area and looking for that morning fix.”

“We frequent this little cafe at least twice a week. I have never had a bad meal here except for the peach cobbler and the carrot cake however, their down home cooking makes up for that. They have daily specials which is great. They get extremely busy during their dinner rush and there’s usually never more than 2 waitresses who are constantly on the move but we’ve never been inconvenienced by that. The staff that work here are friendly and stay on top of everything.”

“Gordon Street has very good food, it’s surprisingly good and cheap. We live in Downtown Houston where everything is super expensive and usually not great. Gordon streets food is always better and always 1/2 the price. When we want to unwind and sit in the peace and quiet this is one of our favorites.”

“I go in here every chance I get! The ladies are so amazing and definitely worth the 15 minute drive. The ONLY place in Alvin I go, everywhere else is too greasy, too small and too over rated! I love the small atmosphere not too crowded I get a lot of tacos but they definitely don’t seem to mind and get the order right every time! Wonderful experience!”
