“Fue una esperienza religiosa! We were going to QT for gas, but it was closed. We went to the Racetrack instead, and tacos called to me. I was in love at first bite….grabbed a handful of napkins in case I drooled too much. I stole the grilled jalapeño from my guy, and went to Glory mid-taco. Sooo good! Thank you, Lindale.”

Also I love supporting local businesses and not big chains owned by people with no soul like Starbucks etc. Great coffee and a nice relaxing atmosphere. “We frequent this little cafe at least twice a week. I have never had a bad meal here except for the peach cobbler and the carrot cake however, their down home cooking makes up for that. They have daily specials which is great. They get extremely busy during their dinner rush and there’s usually never more than 2 waitresses who are constantly on the move but we’ve never been inconvenienced by that. The staff that work here are friendly and stay on top of everything.”

“Gordon Street has very good food, it’s surprisingly good and cheap. We live in Downtown Houston where everything is super expensive and usually not great. Gordon streets food is always better and always 1/2 the price. When we want to unwind and sit in the peace and quiet this is one of our favorites.”
