“We frequent this little cafe at least twice a week. I have never had a bad meal here except for the peach cobbler and the carrot cake however, their down home cooking makes up for that. They have daily specials which is great. They get extremely busy during their dinner rush and there’s usually never more than 2 waitresses who are constantly on the move but we’ve never been inconvenienced by that. The staff that work here are friendly and stay on top of everything.”

“A great place off the beaten path in little old Danbury, Texas. The service was great from the minute I walked in the door. My server was friendly & welcoming- she even asked if this was my first time in (yes) and how did I hear about this place? ( think from Facebook talk of alvin maybe) but I also read the other reviews on Google. I was treating myself to a nice steak dinner & and the ribeye did not disappoint. Full of flavor and cooked just the way I ordered. The portion was huge & I needed a box. It was at this point the hostess noticed a take out bag would really help me - because I'm on crutches with a broken foot & dining alone. She carried my take out bag to my car after holding the door for me ( a simple gesture but a HUGE help these days ) then the sweet hostess asked my name & said she would be praying for me. I'm so thankful & blessed for this meal”

The quality of food is absolutely amazing, the portion of food you get for your buck is huge and the service is great. The guy at the front was real friendly and checked on us regularly. “I travel for a living and I happened upon Tina's Pie Trailer so I bought a Cherry, Blue Berry and a Chocolate Pecan. I gave the Chocolate and Cherry pies to the dispatchers and the company owner got mad and fired me! He then told me that I shouldn't waste my money on other People. Tina's Pies are not a waste and I will buy Tina's Pies so others can enjoy the Great Taste and ask me how to get to the Pie Lady's Trailer. For the Ex-Boss I say "No Pie For You!" I have 2 jobs now that I enjoy and they let me travel. That means I can get pie anytime I want to.....Thank You Tina for sharing...”

“We recently utilized The Dirty South for a special occasion in the event room. Hands down, 10/10! The waitress, Karen, was spectacular to our guests. The venue was clean and ready for us to decorate. The food was crowd pleasing with huge portions. We will definitely utilize the restaurant again!”

“Fantastic food and atmosphere! We brought my aunt to eat lunch for her birthday and they mentioned this being some of the best seafood they have eaten! They are from Galveston with plenty of options but they said nothing compares! The GM - Josh was amazing and so kind! He ensured everything was perfect and it most certainly was! Thanks Josh!”

“I’ve been coming to Giovanni’s for many years and it’s definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Brazoria county. The food is excellent and every server I’ve had has been great. I love the tomato Basil soup and the lasagna. This review is specifically based on my experience last weekend with some notes from previous experiences. This is a small restaurant so it is quite a bit crowded. My partner loves the filet mignon and it was phenomenal as usual. I decided to try something new and got the Alaskan salmon with lump crabmeat and shrimp Alfredo; the meal was delicious but I do have to say the salmon is smothered in sauce for those that may not like that. (Based on past experiences) The pizzas here are amazing! From this visit and past visits, on a negative note, the alcoholic beverages are portioned very lightly and there is some stinginess it seems. A group of my friends and I had ordered Italian margaritas & were not satisfied with them, my friend complained but I found the drink to be tolerable. This past visit I was very disappointed in the portioning of my glass of Pinot Grigio, there was barely any in the glass!!! This opinion is based upon being a worker in the restaurant industry that has served drinks & that not only wants my customers to enjoy their food, but also their drinks. Besides that, this restaurant is excellent and I will always recommend it to anyone that wants somewhere good to eat.

“We have used Lisa for our last few cakes and she is now my go to person! They are always delicious and beautiful. We always get asked who does our cakes. She offers several different flavors and I always have the hardest time deciding because all the ones I have tried have been delicious lol. Lisa is great at communicating and paying attention to all the small details so the cake matches the theme accordingly. 10/10 def recommend Lisa and her delicious cakes!”
