“I was SO excited to find out about this food truck serving true Mediterranean fare in Lake Jackson and stopped by for lunch on Monday. I had a wonderful visit with the lovely Amal as she prepared my food that I took home to share with my husband. I got the veggie plate (that came with yummy bread) and the gyro plate. The food was delicious; the meat tender and juicy and the rice cooked perfectly, fluffy and flavorful. A nice side of Greek salad added to it all. The falafel on the veggie plate was very good dipped in the accompanying sauces. Hummus and baba ganoush wonderful as well. Thank you, Amal!!”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (so far 😅) First time trying Lovebirds Cafe! I picked up two cleanses—the Skinny Cleanse for me and the Green Cleanse for my husband. We haven’t even cracked open the first juice yet, but I already have to give a shoutout to their customer service. It was absolutely top-notch! Friendly, helpful, and the kind of experience that makes you excited to come back. Now, ask me how I’m feeling on Day 2 when I’m staring longingly at a cheeseburger and questioning all my life choices. But if I’m miserable, it won’t be because of the juice! Stay tuned for the cleanse update… and please keep me in your thoughts and prayers.”

“We went to a new local establishment for brunch and we were turned away despite it not being busy and it being an hour to closing time.

We decided to go to Asiel’s, and even though it was past brunch time, as a courtesy and without us asking, they made an exception and still accepted our brunch orders. They never let us down. We very much appreciate their consistent excellent customer service!”

“A positive thing. Our little group SAS (Senior Adult Singles) had a little holiday/Christmas party and we chose to eat at The Jay Cafe in Lake Jackson. We also elected to have Turkey and dressing (dispite gorging on this since Thanksgiving) Amar accomidated serving this on Saturday night (instead of their usual Sunday offering of the same) and the food was great. Our server was so sweet and accommodating it only added to a great evening.”

“Thank you Brew & Bake for making my family a delicious gluten-free chocolate cake! It was absolutely amazing. We’ve never had a gluten-free cake before, but on this new journey we’re learning to reset our mindset and try better options, and this did not disappoint! Our first impression? Brownie cake! It’s incredibly moist and has the perfect consistency. The best way to describe it is like those warm, fudgy brownies from Cici’s Pizza. Rich, decadent, and it literally melts in your mouth. Thank you for bringing a better, healthier choice from your oven to our table We are so grateful!”

“Oh my goodness I went this morning to get my matcha fix and wanted to try this place and I am in love 😍. The staff was patient with me as I do sugar free and they offer so many sugar free syrups and help recommend what would taste good and helped me make a fantastic iced matcha drink!! I do offer a suggestion of including matcha to the online app so I can place my order ahead of time. I saw the coffees and tea on the app but nothing for matcha. Definitely support local and see them and try their delicious creations!!”

“I decided to visit because of all the bad reviews to see if they lived up to the name. Well for starters I can see how they usually won't have pretzels ready, It's a small place in a big mall so give them a break. As for the 2 pretzels I ordered... They were good! The lady that attended me was also very nice and forgave a small mistake I made when ordering. I would give it five stars but it was the companies fault that made it a small place in a large demand area. But other than that keep it up!”

“My cousin came to visit from Abilene. Enjoyed a day at Kemah Boardwalk and finished the day at the Lake Jackson Texas Roadhouse. We had steaks and beer and we enjoyed watching the staff dancing. A great way to end our day.”

“It's an old food truck but I'm giving it 5 stars for atmosphere because it's a classic food truck taqueria. I ordered the Quesabirria plate and it was top notch. The guy running the truck was by himself but cooked my food like a master chef. He spread a little chipotle sauce on the tortillas which really pumped up the flavor. Some of the best I've had. He gave me a free side of charro beans as well and they were great. Don't miss it if you're in the area, delicious! ?”

“Currently, I go to Chick Fil A roughly once a month. I go to McDonalds once a week, solely because they have a playground. If the Lake Jackson Chick Fil A had a playground, they would be getting my once a week business. We need more indoor playgrounds. Just a thought.”

“Opens at 4:30 but will not have full menu available. Tried both a Kolache and the blueberry donuts. The kolache was fine. Good even but nothing special. However, those blueberry donuts are ridiculous fresh out of the oven. My wife quickly nuked some as well a couple hours after purchase and they were still excellent (according to her). I'll try the other donuts but honestly....I'm just looking forward to more blueberry donuts.”

“Fun spot for a drink. Nice TV’s to watch a game. Outside seating is great, and they have a huge Oak tree for shade. Next time we’ll bring our pizza over from Drini’s (next door) because they allow outside food.”

“It was okay for what it is. I had someone else pay for it through a drawing I won at work... I doubt I would pay that much just to go myself again. It's not healthy at all. Tasty? Sure if you slather it in sauce it is tastier than plain, but on it's own the chicken isn't anything special in my opinion. The fries are decent. The slaw is slaw. The smallish Texas Toast is okay. The best thing was the sweet tea, but Whataburger has it all beat... It'll do if you're hungry and want a change from the burger places... I still don't understand all the hype. Sauce? Mmmmkay. Meh. One Love... just not great in my opinion.”

“Wurst Haus is one our favorite places to visit. The wings are amazing and always fresh and hot. The Sriracha wings are the bomb! Then, you pare that with a nice side of hot seasoned fries along with a pineapple cider... that's good eating! Now, there's is one small issue that's not an issue. The sriracha wings used to be drowning in Sriracha seasoning. But now, they have eased up on the seasoning. Wings are still delicious and I'm not going to stop coming but I did like the fact that they had extra seasoning on my plate where I can dip my fries through the seasoning. Just that good! The service is always great, so I don't have any complaints there. Wurst Haus is hands down one of the places to visit.

“The Birria Tacos and the Wings are pretty damn good. In a city where you can’t really find much real food, and definitely not healthy food, at least you want your splurging to be actually good. And the Wings and Tacos are great. The whole vibe is relaxed, easy going, and bilingual if you speak Spanish and English, so overall a nice relaxed spot with a patio!”

“Food was excellent. Try the sweet potato fries. Wings solid. Great happy hour drink prices and the house margarita is better than most. Only downside was it was kinda loud. They had a DJ on a Thursday night and we opted to leave when done eating because we couldn't hear each other.”

“There is a large buffet here . I ate boiled crayfish until I couldn't hold another one. Best Cajun tasting crayfish I've had in the aeria , but I gave in and had some fried shrimp, baked claims, baked chicken, and some baked Whitefish, with sweet tea and peach cobbler with soft xerve ice cream.”
