“Hands down the BEST potatoes in town! Especially for the price! The tacos are so good, the green sauce is BOMB. Literally anything you order is gonna be amazing. The workers are super friendly too! Love the ladies!”
“From time to time, we visit this buffet restaurant for lunch. I particularly enjoy their ribs and rolls. It's a great place to dine, but be sure to arrive earlylot can get crowded due to limited space. The dining area may be a bit cramped, and keep in mind that they close as the parking at around 2pm.”
“You have to get by. This is some great food and the host, Arlene is the greatest. Her smile is infectious and fellowshipping with her presents an unforgettable experience! You have to get by!!”
“Appetizers & main dish both were amazing. Great options to choose from. Snapper is the draw. Thus the name. We tried several dishes of the red snapper. Everyone of them was fantastic. Prices are moderate.”
“Awesome small family owned restaurant with quality seafood. Rudy and his family have been here for over 15years. If you haven’t tried them yet, come check them out!”
“There's homemade tortillas and then there's Lupita's! I'm 62 years old and can truthfully say: Lupita's has the absolute Best tortilla's that I have Ever eaten. The service is remarkably friendly, even during busy times of the day. The lady's bathroom is Immaculate. The prices are dirt-cheap once you see how much you get!Vegetarian options: They have several options such as beans, eggs, cheese, rice that I believe would be viable options.Dietary restrictions: I believe that they are willing to work with you to meet your limitations.”

“Best seafood I have had in a long time that was NOT in a high priced seafood restaurant.Wait staff was very friendly even though she was handling multiple jobs on a mid Saturday afternoon.”
“I really enjoyed the food. Waitress was really nice. Atmosphere had an older diner feel to it, but didn't take away from the meal. Would definitely recommend.”
“Absolutely delicious. Found this place on accident on vacation, and I was blown away. Everything everyone ordered was way too good. Crawfish Fettucini, Chicken Fried Steak, Gumbo and rice, Grilled Chicken. The beans and mashed potatoes had that special taste that tickles the memory. The highlight was the desert, though. The softest fluffy coconut cake. The carrot cake was insane too.Only problem is you gotta be there for lunch or you'll miss it. And trust me you don't wanna miss this one. I don't review often but this place was a treat and a blessing.”
“Best tacos hands down in the area. Egg and chorizo excellent and flavorful. The best egg with chorizo in the area. It has flavor, not like the others. Handmade tortillas. Very tasty!”
“First timer visiting this small business. Was in the search for a breakfast taco to sit down and enjoy. Ordered their hippo and it came out in less than 5 minutes. Only complaint I have is that the bacon is so hard. It’s like everywhere I go they all use the same bacon and it’s just hard and thick cut so I picked out all the bacon. After the waitress left, we didn’t see her again until we got up to pay at the front. I would like to come back and try other items on their menu.”
“AR's is a locally owned restaurant by a family that has lived in Freeport, Texas practically all of their lives. The food is excellent moderately priced and the atmosphere is second to none. They have lunch specials everyday which are very affordable and easy on the pocketbook. Not to mention the food is outstanding.”
“We just moved from NV to Freeport, and this was the first restaraunt we decided to pop into. The owner is the nicest person, we held a conversation for a majority of our visit, learned about the restaraunt, and she gave us some helpful tips for the area; The food was so delicious, and came out fast and hot!My friend says it's already his new favorite stop. We'll be back for sure!”
“Hands down the best tacos I have had in DFW!! I first had these during my residency at BUMC with my co-residents. Through the years they have remained my favorite taco in DFW. The el pastor is the best taco for sure!! The tacos even heat up well as leftovers, so don't be afraid to take some home! The service is always so sweet and welcoming, and they are super quick in making the food too! Don't judge a book by its cover on this one!”
