“Love this place. Friendly staff, 2 pool tables, shuffleboard table is good, and new dart machine, new golden tee, and a stage for live music. All add up to a good time. Beer is cold and cheap, and it's right on the bayou with all the views and a rv park too. The owner is super cool and very good to his customers. Come on down and see this place.“
“I am a Veteran of Nam era and was looking for a great place to meet new people. I lost my wife of 41 years last year so I'm trying to meet new friends. I visited the Eagles while playing them in APA Pool and felt that this place was a great place... SO I JOINED!!! 😃“
“We stopped to eat dinner here this week. Let me tell you the food was amazing the waitress was awesome. She was the only one but she made sure she always checked in with us. The view was beautiful. All I can say is good things but you must try their crab rangoon cheese sticks YUMMY!!!!“
“Had a great evening here, has a bit if a low key feel, not a dive bar but not franchise level either. Definitely a locals hangout spot yet met several patrons from out of the area, the atmosphere was great, juke box had a great selection and the bartender was very courteous and awesome! Several pool tables (it was league night) an all around good bar. I would definitely visit this establishment again.“
“This is one of the most amazing places I have ate at in a while they were so kind with the service and the food was absolutely delicious. I don't know our waiters name but I know that she had a tie-dye phone in her back pocket and she was so sweet. I got the Texas style boneless wings tossed in lemon pepper and I can tell you so good they were not full of Grease they were crunchy the chicken was juicy and yummy.“
“If you have a chance to visit this place, do it.The owners made me feel welcome and were the nicest people you'll ever meet.Service was quick. The place has a bar / restaurant feel. There's music, pool tables, darts, and video games to keep you busy. It appears that they do karaoke as well.I stopped in for lunch so I can't speak of the alcohol or night time entertainment. What I can speak of is the smash burger. Delicious. And the fries were hot and fresh.I had sweet tea. You could tell it was day fresh and was made like you'd make it at home. They also have a reward card for repeat customers. Earn a free meal.I'll tell you this. I will be going back.Hope to see you there.“
“I can't give this place a 5 star, as the hours are a little goofy, and it can be a pain in the butt to pick up drinks or get through the drive thru, but the drinks are all icey cold and tastey. The location at the corner coming into Surfside is ideal too. Really no complains here, the menu is vast and has something for everyone. My only real gripe, these don't kick the way the daiquiris do in Louisiana. Still fun, but if I'm gonna consume this level of sugar, i like for my memory to be hazy the next morning. gotta add your own liquor to these if you wanna black out briefly lol. All in all though, a good time, and I do stop through a couple times over the course of the summer.“
“Great food and wonderful people. We tried a variety of things and found each to be super yummy. You should order ahead because the wait time is going to be a little long. Even with the long wait I would highly recommend stopping in for a bit to eat.Parking: The parking lot is small and can be a little difficult to navigate.“
“Was there today and the service was incredible but the burger I had was beyond amazing. The staff cameAnd checked on us the entire time and made sure we were satisfied with our food. Overall everything was enjoyable, will definitely be back!!“
“It's always a pleasure to stop at Creekside when I'm out riding my Harley! The atmosphere is great with friendly staff and patrons greating you when entering . J & J run a fantastic establishment. I especially like that it's off the main road. Beer is always good and cold. Thanks for your business in brazoria county ..“
“Really good home food. Awesome chicken fried steak that isn't made from frozen. The cheese sticks are awesome!Parking: Good parking area and easy to get in.Wheelchair accessibility: Bathrooms are wheelchair accessible. Easy entrance and fully accessible. Idk about the bar area.“
“Definitely one of my personal favorite bars in downtown LJ. Many creative beer options - particularly IPA’s and other lagers of the sort. Emo and fun vibe here. The pizza tastes great! They have several creative signature pizzas that are great to try out.Parking: Parking is shared amongst other bars and restaurants, it can get quite busy.“
“We had a good time. Tako is top notch. Drinks were good. Didn’t have food. Just saying. I’m a Republican, conservative and not offended by much, nor was I at the bar. In our litigious society today however, it only takes one individual to rain down buckets of feces on a little innocent adult fun. Recommend a certain bottle opener perhaps be handled a bit more discreetly. After all we aren’t in Wisconsin anymore Dorothy.“
“Love this bar. Ice cold beer. Good finger food to munch on. Staff is always friendly. A place where they do remember you and care for you. Free pool Fridays. You can smoke inside. Some bars dont allow it but this bar does. They have two pool tables. Shuffle board. Karaoke usually on Thursday night.“
“From the food to the drinks A+ experience all around. Keegan and Kari always take care of me at the bar and provide exceptional service. The food is always fresh and hot and I have never been let down with anything that's came out of the kitchen. If you get the chance try the "Sloppy Jose" (a delicious spin on a chopped brisket sandwich) and the "Last Word" (a delightful cocktail made with Chartreuse) while they are around. You won't be disappointed.Vegetarian options: A few vegan options, the baked potato, the veggie plate & the friesParking: Plenty of parking on most nights, might have to walk 4 minutes at most on very busy nightsKid-friendliness: Menu had plenty of kid friendly options and atmosphere is generally kid friendlyWheelchair accessibility: Completely wheelchair accessible“
“Good sized bar inside with usually quick service, clean restrooms, giant connect four, and checkers outside on the patio area. Well lit fair amount of seating inside from chairs, stools, and outside picnic tables. Good outside view very open.“
“It is a wonderful spot for locals and tourists to gather to eat good food and have a fun time dancing, playing pool, viewing the Gulf of Mexico from their wonderful deck! Plenty of seating. Not too crowded in the off season, but once spring and summer hit, it's always a a party!!!! Located behind Circle K at the bottom of the intracoastal bridge, its an easy accessible bar and grill with tons of parking and a local favorite.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp from the ground up to the bar and grill itself. Easy accessible for a wheel chair.“
“This place has always been one of my wife and I’s favorite place to visit. The servers there (Holly and Pacey) are very knowledgeable at their job and supply quick service on adult beverage refills! Just want to show my appreciation to them and the establishment for always going above and beyond to show us a great time.“
“Always good food and service every time I’ve been here. The schnitzels and sausages are true to German style cooking, and I love their German potato salad and saurkraut. They also have an ungodly number of beer taps, in excess of 100 I’d guess. Over the years I’ve discovered many new beers here. Highly recommended!“
“We love coming here just to sit outside and enjoy the view. Service was a little slow but they were starting to get busy and we weren't really in a hurry, but all we dealt with were very friendly. Food is good with a nice variety.Kid-friendliness: With the gulf and sand...what kid wouldn't enjoy!“
“I love this place. Nice and quiet. Everyone was doing their own thing. Has a pool table and good music. Jennifer, the bartender, was very attentive to every there and still had time to joke around with everyone and very polite. I will be going g back there.“
