“Just an amazing cajun experience from the music to the food to the decor! The Swamp Shack has it going on! If you crave some southern Louisiana this is the place without the drive. We ordered the charbroiled oysters for an app and there were very good! They could have been cooked a little longer for my personal taste, but they were good. The burger was outstanding. The fried catfish and shrimp were perfect. Our mixed drinks were excellent, we got the Poloma and Sex With an Alligator, needless to say there was no pain felt when we were leaving. The service was amazing and friendly. “Wow this was very good. The calamari was on point and they have delicious stomach filling. I knew when my friend drove me into a strip mall that this was going to be a great time. The fried catfish came straight out of the grease and they are generous with the gumbo. The ladies working took great care of us. I would definitely be back if I was in the area.“
“I got food from DoorDash. It was the wrong order I had to get somebody to take me over there. I had to re-order it and pay it out of pocket. I only had very little tortillas and I had to pay for my chips and salsa you think that they would give you some for free And nobody spoke English sometimes when I go in there I get charge way too much. “It's the only place to go for fresh seafood! and I mean that only in the BEST way. We don't go anywhere else. They have the freshest selection of fish, shrimp, crab and my favorite in winter months .. the raw oysters. The staff is always friendly and polite and they can answer just about any question on the prep. Not to mention they'll clean and filet ahead of time and ven boil the shrimp if you want. The store carries sides in the freezers such as stuffed crab, hush puppies or minced crab meat and more. The selection may vary but all good. Also have the fry mixes, coatings, spices, jarred sauce etc. The store is always spotless, Prices are comparable to other stores if not better and selection is always better.Parking: Location is good just be careful when pulling out of the parking lot onto the street. quite a bit of street traffic.“

“Absolutely delicious. Found this place on accident on vacation, and I was blown away. Everything everyone ordered was way too good. Crawfish Fettucini, Chicken Fried Steak, Gumbo and rice, Grilled Chicken. The beans and mashed potatoes had that special taste that tickles the memory.The highlight was the desert, though. The softest fluffy coconut cake. The carrot cake was insane too.Only problem is you gotta be there for lunch or you'll miss it. And trust me you don't wanna miss this one. I don't review often but this place was a treat and a blessing.“
“Runway Cafe has the best hamburgers around. I went with my work buddies at noon and we had a great tasting meal. The service was good and the atmosphere was great as we got to see airplanes land & take off as we waited for our meal. I seemed like a very quick turnaround from the order placed til it was on the table. We will go back. Try the burgers !“

“Boating with friends yesterday and stopped for some dinner. They were closing in 30 mins yet still gave us a warm welcome and fed our party of six. The food was very good. Everything we ordered was cooked to perfection. We are from Houston and will be taking some motorcycle rides back to this place more often.“
“I typically don’t try new places but I wanted some fried green tomatoes and not growing up on this side of the county I had no idea where to get them so I did some research to find out no where had them fast forward to dinner I googled “places to eat near me” and this place popped up second or third on the list and I clicked it and they had fried green tomatoes so I ordered those and the three cheese avocado panini and that was probably one of the best meals I’ve had in awhile I went from really not wanting anything and ate almost everything I will definitely be heading back there!!“
“We love their cajun food, but mainly go for the beignets. They are soo good. Food is pricey, but it's seafood. As you can see, they are dog friendly if you sit on patio. Only complaint is they are no servers, you order at counter, and they bring you your food. You have to get refills or anything else you may need.“

“Visited from out-of-state. Got the grilled redfish and garlic mashed potatoes. (Meal came with coleslaw and hush puppies). Redfish was grilled perfectly… done inside, but not dry, nor was it wet and mushy. Potatoes were very good with a good serving portion. Coleslaw was awesome. I’m a bit of a coleslaw snob, but was very pleasantly surprised. Hush puppies, though, needed a little help. They were packy and not much flavor. Our server, Alan, was awesome. He was very pleasant and never let our drink glasses get empty. Will dine there again when I’m n the area.“
“Dido’s is a great place for a family reunion! Our family had a wonderful experience Memorial weekend. It is a perfect set up. We had a blowup waterslide, a large open area for relays and games, trees to sit under for visiting, great lunch buffet, and awesome seafood dinner. Some family members took j advantage of the house which is available on the premises. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. I highly recommend utilizing Dido’s for any event!!“

Service was good, prompt, polite and all around pleasant.Beer in bottles; no draught. Fine. Well priced for happy hour ($1 off). The Moscow mule for $6 was good and worth it.The food was bar food. We ordered the fish grilled. One small catfish filet with a couple of hush puppies and a side for $14. Nothing bad, nothing great.Nice views of the bay.Will go back and try something different for a meal.“

“This is the best kept secret in Angleton! My husband was searching for a seafood restaurant that wasn’t so commercial, yet good, and affordable! He hit the jackpot with this place! We have been to this place twice and when I tell you the food is plentiful for price, served hot, and fresh! The food is delicious and to top it off the service is like being in a 5 star restaurant! I haven’t tried everything but the fish and shrimp are seasoned well and fried to perfection! They don’t pile your plate up with French fries to make the plate look full; they give you large pieces of fish! The hostess remembered my granddaughter (she loves the attention) and the waitresses are attentive, friendly and thorough!
