“Frenchie's was recommended by Shawn, our tour guide for the VIP Astronaut Training tour at Space Center Houston. Boy was he spot on with the recommendation, the food at Frenchie's is phenomenal! Why four stars? The vibe was a bit off with the owner barking at the servers, walking around the restaurant visibly upset, grumbling and just being unpleasant. He came to our table to take our check and we complimented the food, only to be grunted at?? It was truly uncomfortable!!Now, the food and the service, that was perfection! I had the lasagna and it was delicious, exactly what I was expecting from a highly recommended Italian restaurant. Hubby had the steak with Dijon sauce and said it was amazing, he wanted to lick the sauce off the plate!! We shared a bottle of Italian red that was recommended by our wonderful server Maria who definitely knew what she was recommending! Maria was wonderfully attentive, friendly and very knowledgeable of the menu. The ambiance is old Italian with history, including NASA history! I highly recommend a visit, it's definitely a great break from BBQ!!“
“Great food at a nice local restaurant. We've had pretty much everything on the menu and its all good. The only problem we've ever had is the temperature. I'm guessing the windows make it hard to keep the temperature even. Sometimes its warm, other times its freezing.As far as the food goes, you can't go wrong, all of it is great.Parking: Small lot, so when everything in the center is open it can be a little tight.Kid-friendliness: Lots of options for kids.“

“I think the grilled chicken Alfredo pasta is one of the best I’ve had. It’s so rich in flavor. The tomato basil soup is also amazing. They go a little heavy on the seasoning for the grilled and blackened chicken, but you can ask for less and I think it’s perfect. The food i get is really heavy, so it’s great for sharing in my opinion. My husband loves this place too. He has not been disappointed with anything he has ordered.“
“I have to say that after three separate visits, I am happy overall. Mama's Meatbals , Calamari and minocatti. Cooked very well fresh and very Hot ?? enjoyed thier in-house sauce. Calamari was not greasy light batter crispy taste. Meatballs were Hot fresh topped with cheese and plenty of tasty sauce . If u are in the area grab you some great tasting food. Came back later on at night to try it out myself with my partner, and i wasn't disappointed! Wings had a nice flavor,although i prefer them crispy! Pizza crust is just how i usually like it,thin and can be folded! Perfect serving size for a medium for 2 people(around 8 slices but they are decent size). Atmosphere is super chill! Bar set up was my favorite, with the cushy booths i saw for us thick mammas LOl?. Just stop in and try!UPDATE : 3-3-2024 EM served us BOMB drinks! Had me feeling lovely and finished ALL my drink!! Had the pretzel with beer cheese and house margarita!Parking: It can get super crowded since its in a strip mall so try to get there early in the afternoon perhaps, or catch a spot if your lucky when someone pulls out!Kid-friendliness: Have nice booth seating and also saw alot of family's there!“
“It was really full when we arrived but staff communicated the waiting Time immediately. At the table we got served with homemade bread and spiced oil. We both ordered pasta which was very delicious and came with a salat beforehand for free. Therefore it was a very good choice not to order a starter. That would be too much.“

“My cousin & I had lunch today, Feb. 25th, at Birraporetti's in Friendswood for the first time. On Sundays, they have a deliciously outstanding large buffet from 10:30 am-3:00 pm for $2 that is not listed on their web site. On the buffet, many Italian entrees, vegetables, pastas, pizza, ceasar & greek salads, breads, scramble eggs with vegetables, all fixings for omelets, waffels, fresh fruits, desserts including cannolis, coffee, teas, soft drinks...and you can have as many of the beverages you may want in all groups at no extra charge. To say you get your money's worth is an understatement!!!! Service & staff friendly & obliging in all aspects. The restaurant itself is very nice inside, comfortable, spacious & very clean. Definitely will be returning & definitely will tell other people to go there as well.“
“So we came here for my stepdaughter's birthday dinner. And I mean, all of us... from the ex to his family and the general family. Which made it very awkward because all of us, don't get along. But the restaurant was just as you would expect an olive garden to be. Good Atmosphere, Great Food and the service was fantastic.
