“My cousin & I had lunch today, Feb. 25th, at Birraporetti's in Friendswood for the first time. On Sundays, they have a deliciously outstanding large buffet from 10:30 am-3:00 pm for $2 that is not listed on their web site. On the buffet, many Italian entrees, vegetables, pastas, pizza, ceasar & greek salads, breads, scramble eggs with vegetables, all fixings for omelets, waffels, fresh fruits, desserts including cannolis, coffee, teas, soft drinks...and you can have as many of the beverages you may want in all groups at no extra charge. To say you get your money's worth is an understatement!!!! Service & staff friendly & obliging in all aspects. The restaurant itself is very nice inside, comfortable, spacious & very clean. Definitely will be returning & definitely will tell other people to go there as well.“

“Frenchie's was recommended by Shawn, our tour guide for the VIP Astronaut Training tour at Space Center Houston. Boy was he spot on with the recommendation, the food at Frenchie's is phenomenal! Why four stars? The vibe was a bit off with the owner barking at the servers, walking around the restaurant visibly upset, grumbling and just being unpleasant. He came to our table to take our check and we complimented the food, only to be grunted at?? It was truly uncomfortable!!Now, the food and the service, that was perfection! I had the lasagna and it was delicious, exactly what I was expecting from a highly recommended Italian restaurant. Hubby had the steak with Dijon sauce and said it was amazing, he wanted to lick the sauce off the plate!! We shared a bottle of Italian red that was recommended by our wonderful server Maria who definitely knew what she was recommending! Maria was wonderfully attentive, friendly and very knowledgeable of the menu. The ambiance is old Italian with history, including NASA history! I highly recommend a visit, it's definitely a great break from BBQ!!“

Was happy with service as server was attentive and on top of my tea refills. Food was made to order and very hot upon arrival, I appreciate that. as others have posted the interior is a little sparce, but I'm not there to look at the decor - I'm there to eat. Look to have a robust carry out business. I'll return and enjoy something else. The pricing was very fair and if it means lower prices with sprucing up - I'm fine with that. “Great food at a nice local restaurant. We've had pretty much everything on the menu and its all good. The only problem we've ever had is the temperature. I'm guessing the windows make it hard to keep the temperature even. Sometimes its warm, other times its freezing.As far as the food goes, you can't go wrong, all of it is great.Parking: Small lot, so when everything in the center is open it can be a little tight.Kid-friendliness: Lots of options for kids.“
“I think the grilled chicken Alfredo pasta is one of the best I’ve had. It’s so rich in flavor. The tomato basil soup is also amazing. They go a little heavy on the seasoning for the grilled and blackened chicken, but you can ask for less and I think it’s perfect. The food i get is really heavy, so it’s great for sharing in my opinion. My husband loves this place too. He has not been disappointed with anything he has ordered.“

“Me and my daughter and I were starving, and I was craving pizza. It's been a while since I've been to Gio's. The last time I ordered Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo, and it was excellent. I've never had the pizza here. I ordered the pepperoni and my daughter the cheese. The waiter was very attentive and got our bread and oil out quick. Thankfully, because my stomach was empty. We ordered our pizza and it was out in less than 10 minutes. Pretty good for hand tossed pizza. It was excellent. The sauce was amazing, as was the cheese and pepperoni. So very happy we stopped in. We were very pleased. My only complaint, and it's not a deal breaker, but I would have loved to hear some great Italian music as we ate. No issue though.Parking: Parking spots are kinda tight, so the big trucks and duallies might have an issue.“

The bread was so good & toasted to perfection. The meatballs & sauce had an absolutely great flavor. The fries were somewhat shoestring cut & paired perfect with the sandwich. The lady who took care of me was Angel. Kudos to Angel for being so nice & having a pleasant attitude.
